BigChiefHoho Yeah I know my reality is that I will have to pay attention to what I'm eating for the rest of my life.... I don't have to like it though! lol
It just stinks to work that hard and not see numbers how you want them to be.. alot of people say the numbers don't matter, it's how you feel.. but ME I like to see the numbers move..it motivates me!

Hello all, quick check in
Looks like we're off to a good start, great group as always.
Had a good OP day today, so happy about that, can't wait for that nicer weather to really kick it up.

tinajayne stick with it, the results will come, the good news is you won't be trying to lose at some point, so you'll be able to loosen up a bit, one thing long term weight loss/maintenance will teach you is patience...some days will be easier to have patience than others.

best to all

yesterday's exercise: 1h walk

good morning

I am not sure who brought it up - but I plan on counting calories for at least another year once I reach my goal weight. Not to lose more - but I have been overweight all my life, and quite frankly, never had a normal eating pattern. I spent the last 15 months losing weight and eating at a deficit, and that is also not a normal eating pattern.
Normal - maintenance - eating needs to be learned, too, and therefore I will track and weigh-in for another while just to see what I need to do to maintain.
It's a lifestyle change

Anyways, guys, forgot to ask yesterday, is anybody giving up anything for lent? Not asking for religious reasons, in Germany it's very popular to refrain for 40 days. I wanted to go without the smartphone this year, but then decided not to because it's my sole means of communication basically so I feel like I can't.
Now I just do the traditional candy/cake/alcohol/soda thing. It's my birthday next week though, and my birthday is always an exception

Take care everyone! Have a great OP Thursday!

Stomach flu is a crappy weight loss plan, pun intended. Should have known I couldn't avoid it 2 yrs in a row. Up most of the night. Ugh.
