  • I liked being part of this last month, but I think this time I will make a more realistic goal.

  • I failed miserably for the October Challenge, so I want to do better in November.

  • Woohoo! I'm in! Thanks Joy! Well, I've rounded back up to 183 this morning, and no telling which way it will fluctuate from here, so I'll use 183 as my starting weight. I want to lose 6 lbs. I seem to be on target with that amount, so I'll stick with it. I have a big mini-goal coming up, so I really hope November is kind to me and allows me to get there!

  • I didn't quite make goal in October. I had set a goal of 7.4 lbs. and lost 6.6 lbs. which is not too shabby. I was almost there then I gained 0.6 lb. right at the end. I had a URI and had sick grandkids at home so I was complacent about staying on plan. This month I am going to set 5.8 lb.s as my goal which will put me at 189.0

    My start weight is: 194.8
    My goal weight for Nov. 30 is: 189.0
    I want to lose: 5.8 lbs.

    Every month of these challenges I gain right at the end of the month and with thanksgiving it's very understandable! Still did okay and met my goal. Onward to december! My loss for November is 6 lbs. Goal of 5.8 met!

  • Despite a difficult month, I made my Halloween goal with a tenth of a pound to spare! So I am more than ready to keep the momentum going in November.

  • I'm in! November and December are going to have lower goals than I've done in the past because I have a lot more functions and have less control over what goes in the food. I'll probably ramp it back up in January. Plus this is getting harder the lower I get!!!

  • I am going to join here this November for the first time... I have lost close to 2.5 lbs only last month but I was very stressed last month that I couldnt stick to my plan well..

    Its a new month and a new start.. So I am going to commit myself to stick to my plan in a much better fashion this month..

    11/4: 277.9 - I don't understand why I do this. I'm one weight for a couple days and then loose a large amount. Followed by a standstill or a gain.... so strange!

    11/11: 279.2 - I need to drink more water. I have been very dehydrated and I think I am retaining a lot of water.

    11/13: 278.0 - Finally looks like the water weight is coming off!
    11/14: 277.0 - Goodbye water weight hello fat loss!
    11/15: 276.8 - Finished my first day of the c25k workout! I'm loving it!
    11/16: 276.4 - Yes! I love seeing the scale move down! I am so sore today however!

    11/19: 277.2 - I think I figured out the reason for my gains..... I just started running and TOM came for a visit.
    11/20: 277.0 - Hopefully this shows I'm going to start going down again.
    11/21: 277.6 - I am frustrated today! I am up AGAIN and, I need to run today.... in the cold and the rain!!!
    11/22: 275.4 - WooHoo! Over night the weight started falling again!
    11/23: 276.8 - Dang it!

  • Count me in again too. I didn't make my goal in October, but I still lost, which was good. (My original goal for that first challenge was 11.6#--- err... no).

    I'm going for around what I did loss in Oct, which was about 6 pounds.

    And, once again I will be having just weekly weigh ins, not daily like some others. My starting weight as of Nov. 1 will be recorded tomorrow and continue on Thurs and/or end of the month, however that falls.
