Well, not what I wanted, but at least not a huge gain over the holiday, and at least a four pound loss for the month. This next month is going to be super tough, but I am ready for it. I'll will jump onto the other thread tomorrow. We are having a family brunch here at 7:00 a.m. so that we can make our Disney dining plans for our trip in May. I have some healthy options ready. Everyone enjoy their Saturday!
  • Not too shabby! I'm back down a half-lb, so although I would rather have gotten back down to my goal weight of 177, after celebrating Thanksgiving I ended the month only 1 lb up!

Turtle, way to end the month strong!

Kelijpa, you did a great job! It is a win!

183, yay on the 2 lbs! Anytime we weigh less than we did before on this journey is most definitely a win!

Stilettolife, congrats on the 2 lb drop! And good job going back to low-carb and drinking your water!

Boatingmommy, 4 lbs lost is fantastic! And way to go planning healthy brunch options!
  • I'm up a little this morning after indulging on thursday! But I still managed to make my goal! I'm back on the wagon again and ready for a december challenge!

    Week one 240.6
    Week two 242.6
    week three 236.5

Weigh in time again, last one 236

Only 6 lbs this month. But these last two weeks I have watched it closely and been very active, I know I really lost more but it does not show. So be it, it will show up on the scales. But it already shows up phisically on me, my pants are trying to fall off, my shirts are very slack, and it shows in the mirror. Plus, I feel better. I am in for Dec with a 12 lb goal this time and am going to try to make it.

  • Good morning everyone!!! Happy December. It's so hard to believe that the end of the year is has come so fast.

So I must admit that at the beginning of this challenge, I really thought that I was setting a realistic/attainable goal of 13.4 lbs. Lol. Oh the lessons we learn. All in all, I'm very happy that I joined this challenge with all you lovely people.

*Turtle* - congratulations on surpassing goal!!! Very impressive.

*Sum38* - no worries. Every setback makes for an awesome comeback.

    *Jacqui D* - it's so close that I'd call it a win!

*Big Fat Rooster* - Seeing the change on the scale and in the fit of your clothes is a great one two combo.

Congratulations and way to go to everyone in the challenge.

  • Great attitude, LfChanges! I never comment on people's unlikely goals because I hate to be discouraging, but then I worry that they'll be discouraged if they don't meet their goals. I'm glad you're sticking with us! I have a theory that fast pounds come back but slow pounds stay gone -- permanent weight loss is what we're after.
