Saturday's weigh-in: 80,0kg (176.2lbs)
yesterday's calories: didn't count
yesterday's exercise: --
today's weigh-in: 80,5kg (177.2lbs)
change: +0,5kg (+1lbs)
Good morning you guys,
my choir weekend was fun. I picked my skinniest friend, and then ate exactly what she had (cookies and wine). Didn't tell her about it So yeah, it was good.
I'm sad I won't make goal this month And that I won't make my overall goal before Christmas. I've been at this since January, and I wanted to change into maintenance after one year. Instead I've been stuck between the same 3kg since August, and I feel discouraged. Also, I am kinda scared considering I try to eat at a deficit at the moment and maintain, so if I try to maintain, will I be gaining? Uurgh. I'm not being diet happy today
Anyways, my food is planned for the day and I hope to get a run in after lunch
soon2beskinnyCarma great to read you're good on exercise 0.6lb is a nice loss!!
cincorn AMAZING JOB! And you're a week early, too. Well done!
Minneey don't worry. Today is a new day to do better.
kelijpa woohoo, GOAL! Awesome you lost that sodium weight so quickly. great job this month!
Sandyangiollo Great to see you join in
SouthernBell02 Well done losing 4lb so far
Jacqui_D I'm sure you'll lose that cheat day weight quickly.
gardenerjoy great to read you did better at the dinner this time. Same situation + better choices = awesome.
minneey feel better soon!
Have a lovely day everyone!!

183, I feel for you being stuck at a plateau. I wish I knew the solution. Since I don't, I turned to Google and found a link to Jillian Michael's website about breaking a plateau: http://www.jillianmichaels.com/fit/l...t-loss-plateau. Maybe it can help!
Kelijpa, "loving myself in spite of that number"--that makes all the difference! The number will drop and your great attitude is what is going to lead to your success!
Joy, great job staying on track!
Minneey, please take care! There's no need to rush back to exercise. You can control your weight with diet and your body needs time to heal! I hope you got a better night's sleep last night!

Wow - I've been traveling this week and it was so nice to come back to so many stories of success and progress. I'm inspired. Unbelievably. after a week of traveling in Europe on business where I had no control over what or when I ate, I managed to lose 2 pounds. Now I just need to get in a real push of running and I just might make my goal:
Start 216.4 Weekly weigh-in, 10/31
1-Nov 215.8
2-Nov 215.7
3-Nov 215.7
4-Nov 215.5

6-Nov 214.8
7-Nov 214.9 Weekly weigh-in, down 1.5
8-Nov 214.5
9-Nov 214.4
10-Nov 215.7 Ugh…salty Mexican food last night
11-Nov 214.7
12-Nov 214.7
13-Nov 214.1
14-Nov 213.9 Weekly weigh-in, down 1 lb
15-Nov DNW
16-Nov DNW
17-Nov DNW
18-Nov DNW
19-Nov DNW
20-Nov DNW
21-Nov DNW
22-Nov DNW

Ladies and gents it's been super fun! As of today I weighed in 2.4 pounds under my goal weight of 299 for November! This is the lowest I've been in several years. Everyone has done such a great job and being in this challenge definitely helped in aiding my weight loss!

187.6 this morning! Joining weight watchers and writing everything I eat down was a good decision. I guess I was eating more than I thought when the scales were stuck. My SW was 194.8....my GW was 189.0. I SMASHED it! I'm a little nervous about Thanksgiving though.

183StGB: I love this strategy "I picked my skinniest friend, and then ate exactly what she had."
cincorn: would you like some help working out a Thanksgiving plan? Tell us what you'll be dealing with and maybe we'll have some ideas.
My Thanksgiving will be one meal at my sister-in-law's house. I'm bringing homemade cranberry-applesauce (no added sugar) and I know that my mother-in-law is bringing a salad. So those are the two things that I'll mostly fill my plate with. I'll have tiny servings of everything else, including dessert, so that I don't feel deprived.
Normally, for our meals out there, I skip all snacks and alcohol. But, my nephew who is in the wine business and knows a lot about cheese, too, will be visiting for the holiday. So, I'm bending my rule and will have a taste of anything that he offers -- although I've finally learned that for cheese-tasting, I need to stick to cheese (no crackers or bread because those are triggering).

Haven't post since 11/4. I got slammed at work this month (still slammed) but for some reason I'm maintaining, instead of gainning, so that's great. Plus, despite my current craving for twix (TOM is this week) and drinking Pepsi to stay awake (my co-workers gave me a mini-intervention), my co-workers have been keeping me a line. We also decided to just eat whatever we want until Jan 15 and then get back to work. I"m going to keep going with my already plans and just eat the junk in moderation. After Jan 15 though, I'll probably start eating clean and really pick up the pace with my workouts.
Been fluctuating between 272 and 274 thoughtout the month.

Joy, reading your post had me salivating for cheese. I am obsessed. I can't have it in the house. I think I may love it more than chocolate. Hopefully your nephew brings some treats and a few nice glasses of vino. Sounds like a good holiday is heading your way!
Watchoutforthatcar - wooooh on reaching this mega goal! You've done amazing :-)
Taking it slow on my workouts Jacqui - just trying to stay vaguely to my plan as its due to finish next week. So hard to stumble so close to the finish line grrrr!

Going to bed a happy weight loss chick tonight.

yesterday's weigh-in: 80,5kg (177.2lbs)
yesterday's calories: 1400
yesterday's exercise: 75min run (11k)
today's weigh-in: 79,4kg (175lbs)
change: -1,1kg (-2.2lbs)
Good morning you guys,
we had amazing weather yesterday, blue sky for the first time in a week, so running went really well. I'm also excited because my music stopped after a third of the way, but I still kept running. A first for me
I had a nice drop this morning Hope it sticks, so maybe I can end this month how I started it
I'll head to the library just now, and to crossfit later.
Jacqui_D haha, I actually keep thinking about Jillian! I just heard her talk about it on biggest loser a little while back. 'There are no plateaus, just people getting sloppy'. And she's totally right. When I was heavier, I was still losing well despite of almost no exercise and crappy days, now at a lower weight, the body isn't as forgiving. So yeah, I'm definitely working on consistency, and being at school and back at studying definitely helps with discipline.
great to hear you're going back down!
Rsadler126 awesome job losing despite of not being able to control your diet! well done I hope you got to see a little bit of Europe next to work
kelijpa great you're staying on plan!
watchoutforthatcar Well done getting below goal!
cincorn awesome job this month! You can be proud! I'm confident you'll make it trough Thanksgiving well
gardenerjoy You have a great plan for the wine and cheese tastings! If you stick to only tasting the wine and cheese, you'll be fine! It sounds really delicious though, hope you enjoy it!
mainecyn don't worry, you'll get through this!
stilettolife moderation is key. Hope work slows down for you soon!
Minneey nice drop! woohoo!!
boatingmommy sorry to read your computer crashed. I'd be majorly stranded without mine. For me it's morning, by the way But thanks
-- have a great Tuesday!
