Hang in there, jillbean! My weight loss was in fits and starts, not the constant drop that I expected and hoped for. Patience works because the next woosh might be just around the corner.
Hi! I'm new to this site, so I hope I'm following the right protocol... My starting weight is 290lbs. My goal weight by the end of this month is 280. I am sure this will be especially challenging as I'm on vacation staring tomorrow through the end of this week. My other goal is to cut out all fast food and to start keeping a food journal.
Jillbean, just keep on plan, eventually you will see the weight come off. Our bodies are a crazy thing. Saturday is my official weigh in day & I weighed in at 167.2, this morning I was at 171.6. I've been pretty much on plan & know I didn't eat enough to gain 4 pounds over the weekend. So I just assume that this is water since it came on so rapidly. I probably ate something that's making my body hold onto water.
So don't sweat it if you know you've been OP. It gets frustrating at times but your hard work WILL show in the long run.
Jillbean, you're going through what's the very hardest part of the process for me -- when you're doing everything right and the scales just aren't co-operating. Hang in there, the whoosh will come.
