Gonna need to edit that now, I apparently overestimated my weight due to my TotM. =/ I'm sitting around 134/135 already so now I'd like to get into the 120's. :) You could either say 6+ pounds or just change that to 120's, haha.

My weight has fluctuated a lot over the past few days- was down to 156.2, then up to 158.8, then back down at 157.2 today.

Did a lighter impact cardio yesterday and got more sleep, and the scale moved a bit more today...so, woo! Weigh-in was 272.2 this morning. I'm thinking the sleep was probably more the culprit than the heavy workout. Either way, definitely going to try to get more rest from now on.

My weight went the wrong direction this morning. Normal fluctuation, so no worries.

I went up 1.2 lb from yesterday, but I know it's water weight. I felt myself starting to bloat yesterday and expect TOM soon.

opheliaphoenix 03-05-2013 02:11 PM

Weigh-in was back up to 273.4 this morning, so I'm feeling a little bummed. If anything, I ate too little yesterday, so I'm hoping it's just a random fluctuation. We shall see tomorrow! The one pitfall to daily weighing is having to be witness to these frustrating ups and downs, even if the overall trend is downward. Going to go walking today...hoping that will not only burn some calories, but also help clear my head.

A loss of 1.5 this week, which is about as much as I'm willing to lose. I had a lot of fluctuations this week too, CleverName, but at least we're trending in the right direction.

Keep up the good work everyone!

Hi everyone. I would like to join in. I weigh in daily, so I do know my starting weight for March.

SW 168.8
CW 167.8
GW 165

I'm a very slow loser as I am not really dieting stictly, I've just been modifying my lifestyle to eat better & move more.

gardenerjoy 03-06-2013 09:01 AM

opheliaphoenix: I weigh daily and put the number in a spreadsheet with a trend line. That way when the fluctuations are driving me nuts, I can look at the trend line. If it's going down (or now that I'm in maintenance, close to straight), then I know that it's all going well.

nimmimoorthy: I'm a librarian, so I always recommend books! My favorites are by Judith Beck -- she writes about how to develop the skills to stick to a diet. I looked at your other posts and see that you are from India. I'm not sure what books you would have over there. A book called Eat to Live by Joel Furhman is very popular here and would adapt well to Indian cuisine.
