This is our monthly exercise challenge thread. Use it throughout 2013 to see a real difference in your fitness. All our welcome, whether your goal is to walk ten minutes a day or train for a marathon.
State your goal and track it throughout the month with a supportive group encouraging each other to meet our goals. We'll compile our exercise goals into a list. As each goal is met during the month, it gets turned RED in celebration.
Exercise Goal: I’m going to use this topic more as accountability of my exercise and to help me keep on track. I'm in my last semester of college so it will be pretty hectic. My main goal is to clock up 30 miles to add to my 750 miles in 2013 challenge. I would like to also exercise 30 minutes per day, with one day off during the week.
02/04: 56 minutes (3.0 mile walk, monster HILLS!!!)
02/05: 68 minutes (4.1 mile walk)
02/06: 70 minutes (4.1 mile walk)
02/07: 68 minutes (4.1 mile walk)
02/08: Off...
02/09: 75 minutes (4.1 mile walk... over an inch of snow on the roads made it a little slow...)
02/10: 69 minutes (4.1 mile walk)
Week 2 Total: 406 minutes (23.5 miles)
02/11: 45 Minutes (Eliptistrider... 770 calorie burn... took everything I had to finish, but I did!)
02/12: 70 Minutes (4.1 mile walk)
02/13: 67 Minutes (4.1 mile walk) New record! Woohoo!
02/14: 68 Minutes (4.1 mile walk)
02/15: Crazy packing and getting ready for vacation!
02/16: All day either in an airport or flying
02/17: 0.9 Mile Walk (25 Minutes... Altitude change messing with me) (Vacationing in NM)
Week 3 Total: 275 minutes (13.2 miles)
02/18: 60 Minutes (3.7 Mile Walk... Vacationing in NM)
02/19: 75 Minutes (4.4 Mile Walk... Vacationing in NM)
02/20: 115 Minutes (6.5 Mile Walk...Vacationing in NM)
02/21: Woke up to a 'lil snow storm! Vacation in NM

02/23: 111 Minutes (6.5 Mile Walk...Vacationing in NM)

Week 4 Total: 361 minutes (21.1 miles)
I definitely need to join this, I haven't been doing well with exercise the last little bit. I just have to figure out what it is I'm going to do.

I was hoping to do New Rules of Lifting for Women however it seems pretty difficult to do without a gym membership which I can't afford at the moment- or all the extra equipment to do it at home. So I've decided to do a modified 30DS (I can't jump as I live in an apartment so I'm doing other cardio) 3 days a week and then go for at least a 30 minute walk one other day. I'm starting off easy, I hope.
I'll bold each workout once I'm done.

Exercise Goal: I am slowly getting back into exercise after a long lapse. My goal is simply to do SOMETHING every day. My motivation is a wedding dress that needs to be altered so here goes!
The 23-24 and 27-28 are going to be especially challenging because for the first I'm going out of town for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary and the second DH & I are going to Vegas for a mini getaway until the 2nd.
