Summer Solstice 2013 June 21
 

Well, I was trying to think of a day to reach my goal by and I decided that the official first day of summer would work. My birthday is May 31st (I would love to reach my goal by then) but June 21st seems like it will give me some "wiggle room". I will enter my weight every 21st of the month until June 21st. Never worn a bikini in public and I want this to be the first year that I feel comfortable enough to do so. Please join me! :hug:

I'm definitely in! I'm getting down to those last few pounds and so it's getting harder to lose. I'm hoping to lose 1 lb a week/4lbs a month.

I'm in another challenge with a very similar goal date, however I just got back from vacation and added a few pounds so I'm behind schedule on that one. Plus I like the idea of weighing in once a month so I'm in.

I am definitely in! I love the summer time, and this challenge is great because the summer solstice falls 6 days before my birthday, and I would love to be at one of my goals by then!

I know my goals seem a bit ambitiouse but I got two weddings to attend
and and I have already lost 6 punds in the last 3 weeks. Im uping my gym time to 5 days a week from 2-3 and I been doing amazing with food already. I even started a weight loss blog diary formyself. Its private right now but I don't want to have it out untill I hit at least 20-25 lbs lost. Im so ecited for this wish me luck!

I'm in !! I didn't finish my last challenge last October, But i'm finally back on track and definitely need another challenge to keep up motivation.
I have many goal's i'd like to reach by June 21st(even July1st), but the first and foremost goal is the OK from my surgeon for my breast reduction.

Feb 21st- 220
March- 210
April- 200
may- 190
June- 180(or less)

Goal is to lose up to 10 lbs a month(but i'll still be happy even if i lose 7-8 a month, and of course i will have to remind myself that i will lose more some months and less other months.

SW- 225
GW- 180 or less(will prefer less but i will still be happy for 180 lol)

I am so excited to meet this challenge! We are probably going to the beach in July, and I will be able to wear a swimsuit without a skirt if I reach my challenge goal :)

*sigh* I'm *dying* to start going to the gym again. Seriously, I had this big conversation with a couple of my friends yesterday and one of them goes to the gym that i want to join when i move to the city(hopefully moving by May). I'm starting to get bored doing this just at home.

I want to join this challenge! I would like to hit my goal weight by June 21st. Now that I am getting closer it is getting harder to lose the weight but I am hoping to lose the last 32lbs by the beginning of summer.

Hmmm - I keep setting myself a 5 pound goal every month. Maybe this will keep me on track.

Today's weight = 192.6

February 21st:190/192.4

March 21st:185/193 not good. Wrong way!

April 21st:180/

May 21st:175/

June 21st: 170/ which will be the lowest weight since I retired in 1998!

(I'm setting up timely reminders to come in and update this whether or not I am down.)

Hello ladies. My goal was to lose all my weight in 1 year. I think is will take longer than 365 days but every day I get closer. I planned to lose 105lbs and I have lost 53 already. July 27 will be my 1 year anniversary. June 21 is a month early but close enough.

I am in a First day of spring Challenge to get to 199. I have 13lbs and 5 weeks to go. I am not sure if I will make it but I will be closer to my ultimate goal than when I started. December and January were hard months. I am trying to get back on plan with diet and exercise.

Once a month weight in I will have to set up reminders too. 6lbs a month would be 24lbs lost which would be 188. My goal weight will be 185 which is rounded down. S0 my goal will be to lose 27lbs (in 4 months) by the first of summer.

February 21st: 211 lbs.
March 21st: 206.8lbs (not a good month)

I had originally posted that I wanted to make my ultimate goal(145lbs) by the first day of summer. But after some reflection of my weight loss the last few weeks, I realize that it is not going to happen. I have been losing about 1 lb a week, so I have changed my monthly goals to a 4lb loss each month. If I get more, well that is awesome!!

I just got on here to see what my March 21 goal is (181), and that means 6 pounds in three weeks. I can do this. We all can do this. I love these challenges because they really motivate me to keep up with my plan!

3 days to the weigh in. I have another 2lbs to lose to reach my goal for the month. Its all good. This last month I was on a huge plateau. Its finally starting to break. Eating too much salt last night did not help. LOL.

This morning I was at 181.4, so I'm calling that close enough to my 181 by 3/21 date! So far I have been .4 pounds above goal each month. I could live with that!
