S/C/G: 228/226/160 start bmi: 36.8

Default 30lbs Lost for Santa!

Christmas will be here soon!
Photos, vacation, parties, all these things and I want to be ready to look and feel my BEST!

This is a challenge for everyone to join me and lose 30lbs by Christmas!
Check in as much as possible even if you just need to be reminded why eatting is not worth it!
My start weight is 228 and I want to be under 200 on Christmas morning!

There are 2 big "eatting" days to go through which are Halloween and Thanksgiving!
I know I will have a horrible time for Thanksgiving since family and lots of food favorites will be there!

I can't lose that much in two months. For me a healthy loss would be 16 pounds by Christmas. 30 pounds would be nice, but for me and the diet I am on I would have to practically starve myself. haha

I've started my own 9 weeks till Christmas diet. I will be trying to reach my goal weight by that week. It will be hard to loose 2 lbs per week, but if I stick to my calorie deficit and keep up my exercise routine I may actually get pretty close.

Good luck to all of you on your weight loss journeys. Keep up the good work

I guess I will join with the goal of losing 15 lbs by Christmas. That will put me on track by hitting 'normal' by my 25th birthday in mid Jan.

Hey gatorgir!
I'll track along with you since we want to loose right around the same amount. It will be helpful to have someone to keep track with over the next few weeks. I know it's a high goal but no matter what we will be better off then when we started right

I think I will update here whenever I lose. That will keep me accountable all the time rather than just prior to weigh ins. Plus I have a ton of challenges that I only update weekly and this will be nice to be more frequent.

K3LL3Y - I don't always know where to set my goal. Sometimes they are super high, while others are very achievable. Either way, I always end up losing whatever I can and am happy about it. Let's just do this and see where we end up.

I'm not going to aim for 30 lbs... but as I know at least 5 of the pounds I currently have on me is pure water weight/bloating and once I go healthier whole foods and back onto calorie restriction, it'll fly off... I'm going to aim for 25 pounds by Christmas day, which will put me at 165.

So... here goes! I'm going to weigh in every day, but only have an "official" weigh in once a week, every Tuesday until Christmas morning.

Welcome Serbrider and ClaireBear to our Christmas Club

If we weigh in together and hold ourselves accountable then we can make it through the holiday season a few pounds lighter instead of a few pounds heavier!

Have a Healthy Week Everyone!

Welcome Serbrider and ClaireBear!

Happy Halloween, everyone! I didn't manage to make my crazy, unreasonable Halloween goal, but I hope I can make my Christmas one. I seem to be a little bipolar when setting goals - some are achievable while others are just looney. Either way, I am going to give it my best. Happy about seeing a loss today. Good luck, everyone!

Default Ambition

I think 30 pounds is very ambitious, but definitely doable if you are just starting out. I have lost 30 pounds in three months and hope to lose another 18 by Christmas.
