Default 14 weeks to go!

Joining late here, but there are exactly 14 weeks now and I need the extra motivation I get from challenges.

I recently made my goal a little higher (from 135 to 140), so my goal is to be at goal! But my super secret ultra goal is to be at or under 135 by 12/20 (12 and a half weeks away), that would be 101 pounds lost in 1 year. I'm trying not to care about the goal weight, I know it will more be about how I look. BUT I can't help but long for a 100 pound loss in 1 year PLUS the satisfaction of weighing less than I did in middle school.

9/10 - #231.4 (Had a weekend away, and a kidney infection which made everything wonky!)
9/17 - #228: Moving in the right direction again. Can't complain about a #3.4 loss for the week!

I'm joining a bit late, but I have weights i can back-fill! Doing a Halloween Challenge too...I like having 2 going so I have something to look beyond the short-term, but the short-term to keep me more focused...if that makes any sense to anyone haha.

Ended up with a pretty excellent woosh this month/week! I can fit into my size 19s, which is incredible for me!

I have been working out EVERYDAY, staying ON PLAN - and some how I'm up #2 since last week. It's so frustrating. What the heck's the point???!!!?!?!?

3 days ago I weighed in at 148.6. I'm up to 150 today. I slipped up a little 2 days ago but it was a minor slip up. I didn't expect to see the gain. Its just a frustrating feeling. I just wanna see 140 anything for tomorrow's weigh in.


Enygirl, I know you are frustrated. Keep going. The numbers will drop.

im basically right where i was 3 weeks ago. aside from a few small slips (im talking like 2-300 calories once or twice a week) ive been completely on plan.

i HATE IT! sometimes the scale decides not to make sense. lets keep at it though, itll happen eventually.

I overindulged. I have my comprehensive exams for my graduate school program this week, and everyone has already promised to bring "snacks." It's going to be another hard week to stay on plan, but I need to remember how important it is to me to look and feel better than I do. Feeling kinda bummed I messed that up this week.

EnvyGirl, just keep sticking with it -- you'll get a whoosh soon. Who knows why the scale went wonky on you this week, there's a whole slew of different reasons that could have caused it. The important thing to remember is that you ARE doing the right things and you ARE doing everything you can: water,water,water, exercising, and staying on plan. I know it's so frustrating, but stick with it and you'll get rewarded.

do you daily weigh? Tracking the scale daily was the only thing that made me realize just how much small things can cause my weight to fluctuate...and how often I'll have a fluke high for seemingly unknown reasons. It's not for everyone, I just offer it's what helped me realize the fluctuations. You are doing GREAT! Keep going!

Happy October everyone! I went out to breakfast yesterday AND out to dinner....even if I picked healthy-ish meals I knew the sodium would put me up. Sunday breakfast out is our standard, but the dinner was an extra oh well! It won't ruin the week! It just means extra water and extra gym time!

I had a HUGE week. I expect this next week to reflect that, but we will see. I'm definitely on course to reaching my goal!
