No such luck. That 178.2 and 178.0 over and over are haunting me. JERKS.

I'm wearing a size 8 today though!!

ETA: LOOK!

Kate - congrats on your size 8!!! Such a fabulous feeling!

I wish today was the weigh in and not yesterday...finally had a nice post knee surgery whoosh. Back down to 119.6 this morning. Still up a pound of surgery related water retention, but considering I'm only 2.5 weeks post op, I can't complain. The swelling is going down...slowly but surely...can almost make out my knee cap again. Almost.

Kate- congrats on the new low! I too saw some edging down of post surgery water weight for the first time in 6 days. My eating has been on plan and I'm up to walking a mile a day before my knee starts hollering in pain. I just want my normal cardio routine back. Hopefully soon.

Soon enough, DD. Dont rush it and then injure yourself, or make your knee unbearable to even walk on. You still need to be able to do normal stuff, so dont push it! Listen to your knee, lol..

And I totally hate water weight, for any reason. Just so were all clear, LOL. Loathe it!! It's a jerk.

ANYways, lol.. I gasped, out loud, this morning when I weighed in. I MADE IT TO 175!! Woah. Like Joey on Blossom WOAH. I did a little dance, hugged my cat Scarlett and then weighed myself again, still 175.2. Going off BCP, however much of a pipe dream I thought it was, seems to actually be helping me. Maybe those hormones actually WERE making it harder. I'm so weird.. lol.

But.. YEY!!! Maybe I can lose more pounds this month, since I've already made it to my "would be happy with" weight in the lose-10-lbs-this-month-thread. Maybe I CAN get to 170 by vacation! My math (cals in/cals out) is TOTALLY working now! It never did before. BCP's, however useful, are totally horrid. LOL.

Way to go on the new low! I'm so happy for you!

I took BCP in my late teens for birth control purposes and I swear to this day that it contributed to my hormones and metabolism getting so screwed up. I was fine before taking it but after a year of frustrating weight gain (that began two months after starting BCPs), I stopped it and my body has never been the same. It could be just a terrible coincidence, who knows, but my body definitely reacted badly and I gained weight. Horrible amounts. Obviously that didnt happen to you but I'm glad you're seeing some scale payoff now that you're off them!

Goof for you two! I have slipped...too many parties, vacations etc...I was 151 this am but I am back on track and I can't get bummed out over this little set back. Right? I am just sad that I have to do my 140's all over again, sigh...but I deserve it for pigging out so much

I totally gained on BCP too, DD. I think it contributed to my so-quick-gains... There was no way I was eating 4 and 5 thousand calories a day, lol.

And OMGracious, its SUM!! HI!
