I've lost weight fast before through a variety of unwise and unhealthy ways. I know that slow loss is typically lasting loss. Being involved in this challenge and the June exercise challenge has really focused me. Admittedly, I haven't been perfect (far from it), but I feel like I've rediscovered my commitment to healthy eating and exercise. This is a life long journey and I need to remember that. Prior to being officially part of 3fc and doing the challenges my weight loss had flat out stalled. Accountability and having daily goals has pushed and helped me tremendously. Thank you all for your support and kindness. Here's to a fantastic July! |

AH! How did I know the closer I got to 199 the slower the weight would come off?!??!? :dizzy:
And can't believe we're almost halfway through the challenge!! Really striving for a 3lb loss this week!! I am having ovulation bloating at the moment, so really think I actually did better this week than the scale is showing, and hoping it'll reflect next week. I have a lot of training going on this week as well, so I am setting my sights high. If I can pull off 3 next week I will be somewhat on track for coming close to my challenge goal. I think because it's so hot, it's easier for me to eat less because feeling full & being hot just make me miserable. I drink a ton more water and I'm more active. In the fall/winter I just want to hibernate like a bear & get fat. I really want to get out of the 160s!!!!! I'm hoping I can give it my best effort this week so I can see that 159 on Monday but I'm having a lot of junky food cravings so I'm trying my best to keep those at bay. Toodles - As long as I stay focused, it is easier for me to lose in summer too. In the summer I have a lot more time, which really helps with staying active. I had lost focus for a couple weeks, but I am back at it full steam ahead.

Another incentive for me is I will see my ex in court for child support hearing in September. Just thinking of weighing less for that date is helping as well! good luck to us all! we can do this!! |

Half Way There!
Really hoping I can make it. I did have a whoosh this past week, but I also got a new scale. I wouldn't be surprised if it hovered again. Guess we'll see.
Only 7 pounds go to and 7 more weeks. I hope hope hope I can at least pull out 1 pound a week and make my goal! So far 18.8 pounds lost! BTW I think I hate the 170s more than the 180s and 190s.
