Hi ladies, I'd love to join you all on this challenge! I'm going for a big push this summer because I'd really like to reach my goal weight by my birthday in mid October. It would be nice to get to spend the last year of my 20's in a healthy body. =)
I weigh in on Saturdays so I'll just update on my own dates. My goal weight for September 3rd will be 157. Deep breath. Yes. Must start back again. Last year I made it to 156, lost my handle, went up to 163. Visited my family, they were happy of my weight loss! I was thrilled that finally my Mom said something nice about my weight loss. Came back home, and totally lost 'myself' in celebration of surviving a visit to my Mom... now I'm back up to 170. Shame on me. So. Must start back. Now. Now is the time.

Hiiiiii! I am going for a goal range, because its summer and I have way more time on my hands, which means I can go to the gym almost EVERY day, so I can really KICK ***! 2-3 pounds a week, which means for 14 weeks im going to say 30-40 pounds! My miracle goal would be 199! thats just over 40 pounds to lose! We will see.

Started my new plan today. Planning on staying at 1500 calories or less per day with 150 grams of carbs or less per day. I am also going to be starting the C25K program (partially did day 1 today, but due to sinus problems only did half).

July 2 – 214.4 meh July 9 – 213.6 better July 16 – 211.8 hello woosh July 23 – 209.8 :3 July 30 – 209.4 meh August 6 – 206.8 August 13 – 207 August 20 – 204.6 August 27 – 205.4 Sep 3 – 205 5-28- I weighed myself yesterday but had a busy busy day relaxing in the ocean -.- :) can't wait to lose some weight! 6-4 - I've had an insanely busy week my fiancι who is stationed 5 hours away had acl surgery and I drove there and back got him everything he needed made sure he got help with a bath and got him groceries in less than 30 hours so I only worked out twice this past week but I stuck to my eating habits atleast which helped 6-11 drove 40 hours this weekend ( 5hours to panama city, then to Ohio, then back to Pc... Then back to my abode) it was very very hard to eat healthy I did my best also I had my mirena removed and my paragard put in so I know I had some swellon from that procedure, hopefully I start to break thru this.. 6-18 Finally broke thru the damn plateau! This week was good to me for the scale but I really stuck to it, and tried to make things happen. If this can continue on I'd be a really really happy girl! 6-25 I stayed on plan ate well drank lots of water, good to see a loss again, let's keep this up! 7-2 I went thru some mega fluctuating this week idk if I ate too much salt and suffered for it all week cause I spiked up high for a few days and finally made it back down 7-9 I just came back from camping with a loose diet so I'm happy this number isn't higher 7-16 weight coming off seems to be my friend. Been having luck with the scale but my body normally picks the week before my period to lose weight. 7-23 I'm actually surprised by this number, Its TOM and I'm just surprised water retention isn't as bad for now I guess I should say lol 7/30 This number is no surprised I'm just getting off Tom and my exercise and water intake sucked last week 8/6 I'm using my last weigh in from Saturday I'm on vacation and I dont have a scale near so it's probably more or less im not sure 8/13 so after my vacation seems I maintained cause .2 isn't that bad of a gain and I'm still bloated from being off from traveling satisfied and happy I don't have to fight to lose several lbs 8/20 I am happy happy with this number it took me all of last week up until yesterday to get going with exercise again but it felt good to move around again I don't think I'll make my goal but I hope to be under 200 by then atleast 8/27 up but I just got off tom and I have some mega bloat hanging around so yeah definitely not making goal, I was slightly crazy with my number atleast I know what my body can do as far as weight loss 9/3 ugh well what a time to start a plateu I'm stuck at 205 it sucks ah well just keep trudging forward to the next loss I hope it's soon |
Yay! Count me in. I'm brand new to the web site and this is just what I need to keep me encouraged. I just made my first post on the forum about medical obstacles. I have to take cortisone daily for life due to a pituitary tumor hemorrage last year. Losing weight while on cortisone is very difficult, but it is possible. I would love to make a big goal for this challenge, but I know that is not practical. I need to be realistic for my situation. So, I am going to set my goal for this challenge at 15 lbs., roughly 1 pound a week. With God's help and your support, I know I can do it! Look forward to hearing from everyone each week for the progress reports. Thanks for starting this challenge and for being there!

My diet starts TODAY!
Hey everyone!
I'm a bit late to the party, but what better time to start than the present? Starting weight: 205 Goal for Labor Day: 180 How I plan to do it: 1600 calories a day 5000+ steps a day Exercise bike 30 minutes 3x a week I'll be updating my progress every Wednesday. Here's my chart: 5/30: 205 (SW) 6/06: 203 / 6/13 201 / 6/20 199 / 6/27 197 / 7/04 195 / 7/11 193 / 7/18 191 / 7/25 189 / 8/01 187 / 8/08 185 / 8/15 183 / 8/22 181 / 8/29 179 / 9/05 177 / I'm not subscribing to any particular diet plan, but I do intend to cut back on sugar and eat more whole foods. I have high blood pressure, so I will be attempting to load up on anything that has lots of potassium to try and hit the daily recommended value of 4700mg. Lots of tomatoes, spinach, and legumes for me! Good luck everyone. :) |

What type of plan is everyone doing? I'm curious.
I work out 3x a week with cardio bursts between a weights plan a friend made for me (1.5 hrs), 4x a week cardio for 30min that I am increasing to 45 min to an hr. Today, I did 1 hr cardio on the eliptical plus my weights program for 2.75 hrs of exercise.:carrot: I feel awesome. As for eating, I am doing higher protein, lower carb. I do want to shoot for 1400 calories and see how that goes. Good luck to everyone this week :) |
I signed on to do this a week ago and decided to start then because I was excited. I lost 2.8 lbs this week! 22.2 left to my goal for this challenge! I will weigh on Mondays from now on, I just wanted to share.
