Dear God this week has been hectic and full of people peering over my should every damn time I sit down at the computer.

Finally some peace and quiet today.

5/7/12: Day 6 of 21+, done. Kickboxing and dogs walk.

5/8/12: Day 7 of 21+, done. TM, running 47 min and 3.7 miles total. 35 min running; dogs walk.

5/9/12: Day 8 of 21+, done. Weird exercise day . . .got sidetracked and half the morning got in. Did some ab work, Pilates and dogs walk.

Took today off from 'official' exercise (pulled an upper back muscle this a.m. so decided to forgo the workout; feeling better now) but am going out for more yard work. <sigh> It's never ending. Mulching still needs to be done.

Hi everyone. I hope everyone is doing well. I haven't been around so I have to catch up with all the posts. Just wanted to say I started ripped in 30 tonight. Made it through. I didn't think it would be easy but I expected it to be worse. Don't get me wrong it was hard but I expected not to make it through but I did so I am happy. Tomorrows another day. Hope I'm not sore.

Today's my 50th birthday! I celebrated by doing, for the first time, the third and final phase of the Slim in 6 workout -- 65 minutes of a full body workout with cardio, strength training, and stretching. I'm thrilled that I could do it!

Belated happy birthday, gardenerjoy. I enjoyed reading your post in the goal thread. I'll be 54 in a few weeks and am feeling better than I have in years. This is my first gardening season at a healthy weight (I've only been gardening for about 7 years) and it's great to have more energy.

No exercise Friday or Saturday but I spent about 8 hours in the yard. I think I'll use a 25% factor and count that as two hours.

Today: 40 mins walking, 20 mins bike, 50 mins weight training. And another two hours of gardening (I'm a bit of a compulsive plant acquirer) so let's say 30 mins. That takes me to 930 for the month, with 1600 as my goal.
