I would love to be at 130 by July 4 but I know I lose pretty slowly so I'll be happy with 135. Actually I'll be happy to just weigh less than I do now!

Hi all. I used to be all over challenges like this. If I'd stuck to them, I might not have regained so much of my loss.

No use crying over spilled milk, I'm here now and determined this time.

SW: 204.8
GW: 179.9 (or less)

My goal is a stretch, but I think I can make it with hard work and perseverance.

4/16: 204.4 (- .4)
4/23: I got a depressing number this morning. If it is still there on Wednesday, my official weigh day, I will post it here for all to see.
4/30: Another depressing number, but here it is 205. (+ .2 from starting)
5/7: 209.4 (+5.4 lbs) This is totally not fair.
5/14: 203.4 (FINALLY!!!!!) (-1.4)

Hopes its not to late to join. I was very active on the forum last fall and lost 30 pounds but fell off the wagon over the holidays but I am back and ready to lose. These challenges keep me on track. I am going on vacation the week after the fourth so this is a great challenge for me. I am going to aim for 24 pounds. Its alot but I think I can make it with hard work and this great support system on 3FC.

Miatutu, glad to see you have joined the challenge.
Drop some of the carbs, and you'll lose. And stick to the challenges for a couple of years...then maintenance.
That is my long term plan.
This excess weight is not good for any of us here. It just has to go.
And we all have to make up our minds not to pile it back on.



I resisted and didn't buy any candy over Easter so that will help me a lot.
I have to stay completely away from snacks and desserts.
And I am still counting calories... Probably will forever.
I hope to lose 12 pounds by the Fourth.
This is such a slooow process.

I'm in. Easter challenge didn't go so well. I lost no weight. At least I didn't gain! So, here's my info:

Planning a beach trip in August, so I've definitely got some motivation. Already did my workout for the day (gotta love Spring Break...no work for me this week). Now if I can just control my eating...Good luck to all!

Hello, my name is Kim I would love to join your challenge. I've been lurking for a while posted a couple times. I weigh 243 right now and my goal for the challenge will be 199. Thats 44 pounds; alot i know but I'm gonna push myself really hard and i believe I can do it or at least get really close. I've had a rough couple weeks, having a hard time staing on track, but I started back today and with your support I know I will be able to stick with it and be my best on July 4, 2012.

I'm totally in on this! I figured it up and its just a day over 12 weeks to the 4th. I want to set a goal that will be a challenge, but not out of the range of the possible. Since its 12 weeks,a dn since I lost 1.6 lbs my first week, then 19.2 lbs would be what I could lose if I maintain last weeks rate the whole time. So I'll round it up and 20 is my goal! I weigh in on mondays and will chart the weigh in here.

Sorry I didn't get on here yesterday. Both my daughter and husband are home for spring break and vacation, so we've been doing the honey-do list.

I weighed in at 195 on Easter morning. There was no way I was going to weigh myself the day after Easter, so 195 will be my start weight for this challenge. lol

I am praying to bust out of my months-long plateau and see a good loss by July 4th. All my best to everyone in reaching our goals!!!

Oops! I didn't have time to check in here yesterday as I was working to a crazy deadline (still managed to squeeze a short run in to my 15 hour day - never would have made time for that before, so that's progress). I did weigh in yesterday a.m. though, so I'll stick with Monday weigh-ins. I'm excited about a new challenge!

I been getting discouraged again recently. I feel I'm working hard yet not losing either weight or inches. I only weigh once or twice a month so I don't use that as my goal. I'm not sure I have a specific goal, I'd just like to see some progress. But I'm happy to see some familiar faces

Today I cleaned house, did my weekly bread baking, and did 40min of cardio.
