Good morning ladies,

Mandy - Two workouts a day!!! Great job.

Jackeree - Congrats on fitting the jeans. Before you know it, they will be too big. Keep up the great work.

Penguin - I'm sorry your day didn't go as you planned. How did the bread turn out by subbing the applesauce for oil? Hopefully, it was good.

I hope everyone else is having a great day. I'm plugging along. The scale is moving at a snail's pace lately but I'm hoping for a big woosh soon. I know that i need to eliminate nuts right now but it is so hard. Once I get rid of what I have, I'm not going to buy anymore for a while.

Ladies, the entire frame of our house is up! It's awesome and has stirred up a lot of excitement in the Viljoen household! We can't wait to move in!

I will catch up with personals later today but wanted to do a quick update.
I am struggling to get back into the groove! I was out of work for 5 days [including the weekend] and my sleep pattern is way off from being up sick at night and sleeping all day. Needless to say i'm exhausted today. I am going to take an herbal sleeping concoction tonight and crash early.

My goals for the rest of the week are:
1. Get 7-8 hrs of sleep and do not press snooze upon waking.
2. Take the dogs for a 3 mile walk/jog in the morning before work.
3. Get back on the low carb train.
4. Do a circuit workout at least twice before Sunday.

That's the plan. If it works for me this week I will likely make it my goal for next week as well. Now i'm off to get some coffee! Have a good day everyone!

i can't believe how much energy i have today. it's crazy. it's like i'm about to jump out of my skin. and none of it is caffeine or sugar based. i've only had water and some yogurt and an orange today. i'm itching to get my walk in.

Evening ladies,

Mandy - I hope you enjoyed your walk. I left work a little early and went to Stone Mountain and did a 3 mile walk. It was absolutely wonderful. I wish I could do it everyday.

I am fighting the urge for peanuts tonight. I looked at them but I didn't give in. Instead I''m having my planned bag of microwave light popcorn.

I hope everyone else ended the day strong.

didn't get my typical walk. though we did do a few laps around the grocery store lol. my husband thought i was nuts because i didn't want to get the closest item next, i wanted to go to the other end of the store to get the next item. MAXIMIZE THE WALKING TIME

we're going to the gym here in about an hour to watch our tuesday night show. we don't have any cable access in our apartment (just netflix) so we have a 60 minute show for every night of the week, and we go to the gym to watch it on the campus' dish network while we workout.

Sorry I've been MIA. I've been tired and sacked out on the couch for the past few days, just not feeling well. A little snuffly but mostly just tired.

The bread turned out well. It rose faster than it normaly does, which I'm not sure is due to the applesauce but easier on me! Since this is the only bread we {and my dad} eat I'm trying to make it as healthy as possible.

My eating was lousy yesterday and I didn't even keep track, but today was better but I didn't feel like eating much!!! I must be sick!

Tues, Feb 6
B= 1 c cereal, 1/2 c milk, 1/2 banana
L= 2 c milk, slice bread with apricot preserves
D= 2 homemade tacos, 1/2 c black beans w cheese
S= 5 bliss, 2 cups choc milk.
E= none

Hubby texted me that his Dad has been taken to the hospital for pain in his arm/shoulder, they think he might have had another stroke, but we haven't heard anything definate. Crave your prayers and well wishes.

ETA: FIL was sent home from the hospital not long ago. As it turned out a new-to-him Dr cut his arthritis meds to see if he really needed them or if they were causing another problem, but apparently FIL doesn't function well without them, which accounts for the pain in his arm/shoulder. At any rate, he's on his way home and it wasn't anything worse like another stroke.

Mom had a bone density test and is fine, I've been having fun with 'my mom is dense' jokes.

Hey ladies, been busy and tired so therefore not on here lately. Having an ok week, my schedule has been off so I haven't been able to exercise and eat exactly how I'd like but it's still going ok.

Good non weightloss related news. I mentioned I'm supposed to get a raise after a month of training at my new job. They are going ahead and giving it to me and I've only been there a week and a half. =) My manager told me they are just really impressed with how quick I'm picking everything up and she said they've never given anyone a raise that soon. Next raise is supposed to be when I've been there 6 months, but I'm feeling pretty confident I'll get it sooner than that too. Keeping my fingers crossed at least. =)

I hope you're all having a great week, gotta get to bed!

Feb 8, Wed
B= 1 c cereal, 1/2 c milk, 1/2 banana
L=1/2 PB&J, baked chips
S= coffee, 5 Bliss
D= chili, 2 cornbread, 3 choc chip cookies {thanks, Mom!}
S= 1/2 graham cracker, 2 triscuit + cheese whiz, banana
E= 60min cardio

Every been hungry but you couldn't figure out what to eat? My last snack was like that. I tried a few things but ended up eating a banana. Embaressing but true the cheese whiz is made for humans but we buy it for the dog; we squirt it in one of her chewtoys, I think she was mad when I ate some, LOL.

Jeckeree, we are delighted that Dad is okay, but we could do without anymore scares for a while.

Kim, congratulations! What a great compliment from you boss!

no work out yesterday due to head and chest cold it did not go away over night, so probably no workout today (unless these meds kick in)

diet soda (caffeine free) is my drink of the day because the carbonation feels good on my throat and i don't want to drink coffee or tea all day and ruin my chances to sleep tonight.
