Up from the holiday weekend, but not too bad. I have some serious work to do between now and Valentine's Day. Here's to a New Year, and purging the house of those leftover holiday goodies (I give my husband the left over cookies and he puts them in his truck and shares them at work).

All in all, I lost over 5 lbs during the holidays, so, although I wanted to loose over 8 lbs by New Year, I'm pretty happy.

I woke up late this morning (7:22) and took my thyroid pill with full glass of water. I usually wake up in the middle of the night and take it, and then I like to weigh in the morning without that glass of water LOL. So anyway, when I got up I did not weigh today. Usually Monday will be my weigh-in day. I hopped on the treadmill for a quick 10 minute walk (and that manual treadmill is so hard to move I have to hold on to the rail with both hands, and it definitely gets my heart rate up).

Good luck to all as we start the "new normal."

Its my TOM and I am sure i am retaining water, I worked out and stayed on track eating, so I should have seen at least a 223. I believe once the water retention is over, ill drop =] so i'm not getting dissapointed just yet.

Just went Jean shopping and I am a size 10!

Now, this might not seem like that big of a deal to some of you ladies, but I used to be 255 lbs and a size 18! So 10 is huge! i bought my first pair of sparkly pocket Buckle Jeans ever and my boyfriend (who is relatively new to my life) says he cant believe i ever used to be fat.

I am tall and have very dense large bones so I will always weight more than the average girl my size, so 224.6 isnt that bad! But i know i can get to a size 5 or 6 at the end of my weight journey =]]

I am nervous about my final weigh in tomorrow for the 6 week challenge I was on and because I have been so stressed and have been on a little binge and went like 400-1000 calories over my daily calorie limit I have set for myself but I didn't get over 2,000 cal. I just got back from the store and while I was there I got me some extra gum to try help with my craving when I am stressed. With the stress I also start back for spring semester Thursday and still have not got the books I need.

Think I might need a new scale cause I stepped on it while I was on TOM and with TOM last month I was VERY emotional like a roller coaster so when I saw I gained I stomped on my scale. It didn't brake but now I know not to step on one when TOM is here lol.

Claire, getting into a size 10 IS a huge deal. Congratulations, girlie!!

Looks like a lot of us slipped up a bit these past two weekends. But those are behind us now. No more holidays until Valentine's day.

I decided not to depress myself this morning by weighing in, even though I always weigh on Mondays. I know I'm up from the weekend, but I'm back on plan again, did my exercise for the day and am feeling better.

Oh, and my New Year's Resolution was that I can not get on the computer until all my housework is done for the day, my exercise is done and I'm showered. I got on the internet late today, but I stuck to my Resolution!

Good luck to everyone this next week; stay strong, my little cupids! ♥

Hi Everyone!
Let's kiss those holidays goodbye! I love to see them come, and I love to see them go.

Clairebear - I'm dreaming of a size 10. That is soooo impressive. Good for you.
Roadtofifty - I'm wondering if weighing in once a week would work for me. I'm not there yet.
Countrybarbie - Hope your weigh-in went well. I know the anxiety thing. Hang in there and relax - if possible.
Sandy - I work from home and I am also going to try to do a little housework, take my shower, etc. before I get online. I'm certainly up early enough to do all of that and still be online before the business day begins, it's just so nice to do paperwork in PJ's sometimes - bad habit, I need to break it.

1/2/12 – 193.6
1/3/12 - 192.8 (-.8) Back down to my most recent low, so now it's onward and downward!
Valentine Goal = 179

Back down under 200 this morning. Thank goodness. Friday and Saturday I binged like there was no tomorrow. I'm not very proud of myself. But I got back down to business on Sunday. I'd love to see if I can make it to 196 by next Tuesday. That'd mark -50 since the last time my husband saw me.

Back to the old routine. Sounds like so many of us are glad the holidays are behind us and we're moving forward into this new year. I bought a new scale this weekend and tried it out yesterday and today. It measures in .2's instead of .5's. I was hoping that seeing the smaller .2 losses on a more frequent basis would help a little. I certainly wasn't expecting to see a .4 gain this morning, but I guess I asked for more details and I got them. LOL

Back to work today makes it easier to stay on track. I can only eat what I have with me, unless a coworker decides to unload their holiday goodies on the rest of us. Willpower is a good thing....*chanting continuously throughout the day*

Offiical weigh in is Friday and expecting my .4 to be gone by then and I'll finish the week off with no loss/no gain.

Happy Tuesday!!

Still plugging away here. Went up 2 lbs. between Christmas and New Year's Eve morning (when I weighed in; ticker and weight reflect the change). Expected but annoying as I had just reached my first goal (5 lbs down) the day before Christmas.

I'm delighted to get back to a routine and am determined to get this muckity muck fat off of me. Exercise is going well (am on a couple of challenges here) and the food yesterday and so far today is spot on. I woke up at 3:30am and couldn't fall back to sleep . . . the sofa is tempting me to stretch out for just a bit.

Glad to see everyone is getting back on track. We can do this and we will do this. Who's with me? Yeah, I thought so!

Just hanging in. Want to eat something creamy. Like potato soup. Cheese cake. Something sweet. Something... anything.... I think I'll go drink a big glass of ice water instead...

My boss left a huge plate of all the holiday goodies she backed on my desk this morning. It took all my wheel power not to dive into all the chocolate covered cherries, fudge, peanut butter balls, chocolate covered pretzels, and banana bread! I let myself eat one peanut butter ball, and i went directly outside to jog delivers after i ate it. Once i got home I had one chocolate covered cherry and one mini chocolate covered pretzels...i counted all of this into my daily calorie counting, so even though i induldged just a tiny bit....i worked it off at the gym tonight, and did not go over my calorie budget =]

Yes, it looks like the worst is behind for almost all of us. Thanks goodness! Now we can really get down to business.

Italiannie, do you mind if I ask you what kind of work you do from home? I wish 3fatchicks.com paid me to be here...I'd make a bundle.

Whew...my New Year's Resolution is already killing me, and it's only the 3rd day! I know it'll get easier, and I do feel better knowing my chores and exercise are done before logging into my computer.

So, did any of you make any resolutions? Besides losing weight, of course.
