Hi all,

I'm a little late to start, but I'd like to get in on this one too! I need to be accountable as I've had a pretty poor month... it looks like I've only lost 3 pounds for the month of November. I know, not terrible, still a loss etc... but I really should have done MORE.

I got waylaid by one terrible weigh-in at the end of week 2.. I was 4 pounds down for the month at that point, then overnight I gained SIX. So that was it.. motivation out the window, less exercise, more little cheats here and there.. which brings me here at the end of the month.

I also think 10 pounds a month for me sets me up for failure.. I have to pick a goal that's achievable sothat I can feel successful.

SO....

GOOD LUCK everyone!!!!

haha I hate how much my weight jumps back and forth Normally on Tuesdays I go get thai food for dinner, but today I've decided not to! Even if it fits in my calorie allowance, its just not worth the 3lbs+ gain that will result from all the sodium and will take all week to flush out

Well today is my weigh in day for another challenge i am doing and I have gained 3 pounds this past week. Since being a member of this forum I have started being accountable for my weigh gain and I like it because it not so scary to admit although I wouldn't admit it to my family or friends just yet. glad i have a place for I can be accountable. It time to get back on track.

Getting so annoyed with this 156.0 business. Seeing that number 3 times in the past 4 days! Grr!! Been eating and exercising perfectly too. I hope this is just a little test and I'll suddenly get a little drop tomorrow or in a few days. That usually happens anyway.

Keep it going everyone, you all seem to be doing really well.

I feel you on the same weight business. I'm trying so hard to break out of the two teens and 210 just won't go away. It's getting rather frustrating.

Good morning fellow challengers!

Kirsten, I know how you feel. I lost 4 pounds during my last challenge and, like you said, a loss is a loss. But I, too, could have done much better. That's the wonderful thing about starting a new challenge. You get a whole new clean slate to start with. Here is to doubling our losses for this one!

Countrybarbie, that is why I love this board and these challenges so much...they keep me accountable. This past 4-day binge had me actually thinking that maybe I shouldn't mention it on the challenge. But what purpose would that serve? Who would I be fooling? Almost everyone falls off plan once in a while, but getting back on plan ASAP and moving forward makes you stronger.

Diane, I'm sending the whoosh fairy your way...

Another on-plan day for me yesterday. Today is my birthday and my husband wants to take me out for lunch. That could be dangerous, but I do well if I have the small Cobb salad at Mimi's Restaurant. I used to eat cobb salads almost daily years ago while low carbing and would lose 7-8 pounds a month. Money is tighter now, so I can't do that, but I do miss those, so I'm looking forward to it.

Have a great hump day all!

I can tell today is one of those days where I just want to eat everything in site....I was even looking up the nutritional info for donuts seeing if I could sneak one into my plan today....terrible I don't even like them that much...but next to my job is a doughnut shop. It seriously taunts me everyday.

Happy Birthday sandcar150! Hope its a wonderful day

Dianee, I'm sure you'll drop under 156 soon!

Ahaha thanks for the whoosh fairy Sandy. I hope she will vist all of us very soon. Happy birthday for yesterday as well.

Thanks Dottington, it should happen soon. You're doing really well by the way from the looks of it.

Lambiechop, keep at it and it'll happen for you. It's easier said than done but that's always what I say to myself when I'm stuck.

Gosh how annoying! I went a teeny tiny bit off plan (about 1800 cals or so, nothing crazy, but just made up of unhealthy food) which isn't really a help to be whole being stuck situation BUT I'm back on plan straight away. The weird thing is when I get stressed and go off plan I don't even enjoy eating certain things anymore and I just couldn't wait until today to be 100% on plan again... don't know if anyone can relate.

I've promised myself I'm eating "ridiculously clean" today. Giving myself the best chance possible to see 155 again soon. After all, I saw a brief glimpse of it 3 days ago so I know it exists haha.

Keep going everyone!!

So I have to ask do you weigh with just bra and panties on or do you weigh with just everyday clothes on? I have tested it once and with clothes on you weigh more. Also has anyone ever stuck a pic of them on the fridge so every time they go to get food when ain't really hungry there is a reminder as to why don't eat when we ain't hungry.

Today is going to be a healthy day.. I will resist all temptations cause my goal is to loose 10 pounds by NYE. Keep telling myself that and that I will only have something junk once in awhile in moderation. Need to say it out loud where someone could hear me.

Hey Sandy!
A healthy, happy, happy

What a great lunch! Something healthy you enjoy with someone you love!

Doing okay here, and very thankful for this challenge. It's keeping me mindful of the numerous opportunities throughout the day to overindulge.

Fat Smash (for me) is not working as well. While I've not had sugar, I broke my cardinal rule and weighed this morning, rather than wait until Friday . . . I've gained 2 pounds - My guess: the morning coffee I had - even without sugar - didn't jive. No other "cheats" but having cravings which may be set off by the grains (oatmeal and rice).

It's a new day, maybe back to low-carb, finish the challenge, then on to calorie counting. It's taking me years, but I'll figure it out

Thanks again Sandy and everyone who shares their story here - You ALL are a gift of encouragement!

Have a great day,
Jean

I weigh in with all my clothes, jewlery and hair accessories off. Heck, I'd trim my nails, remove my nail polish and cut my hair if I thought it would take of a half pound.

Instead of a picture of myself on the fridge, which I'd find too depressing to look at at this point, I have this picture and saying on my fridge:

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I had a lovely day with my family.

Jean, sorry the Fat Smash didn't work out for you.

I've got such a busy day ahead, which is great to get my mind off of food. After cleaning the house, we are decorating it for Christmas and then taking our Christmas pictures around the tree. Plus, I've got to go grocery shopping, to the bank and to return and item at Target.

What am I still doing on the computer? I'm off!!

Happy Thursday, my friends!

AHHHH! I really really hope the 191 stays! It feels so amazing to be so close to the 180s.....almost there!

Dianee, going off plan is super stressful for me too. Mainly because I know going off even a tiny bit will result in a gain the next day that could last for a week because of water retention. Anyways, hope you get to 155 soon! I'm sure your plan to eat super clean will help with that

Countrybarbie24, I weigh in the nude I haven't tried sticking a picture on the fridge...it sounds like it could be a good idea though

Hope everyone has a fabulous and healthy day!
