    AKA
    90 Days No Excuses!

Dates: September 23rd through December 21st

What is this?: A simple 90 Day Challenge where each participant joins and promises themselves and the group that they will stay on plan from September 23rd through December 21st. No excuses.

What that member's plan entails is completely individual! And may even vary day to day!

Autumn up through Winter is a very difficult time of year for many people aiming to eat healthier. There are a lot of "eating" holidays and get togethers with friends and family. If it were only the one day that these treats were around, we'd likely be fine, but we all know it's not! There are often treats all around us at work and at home for weeks in advance! It's a good time to commit and have a plan well ahead of time

Let's avoid the yearly temptations together and commit to being here 90 days from now.

Please join in at any time!

  • Excuse-Proof Plans:

#1) Most important - Still being here at 3FC and being accountable on Day 90.
#2) Follow my food plan for the day. Stay within my Points.
    #3) Exercise/Movement every day.
    #4) Continuing my Beck Steps.
#5) Keeping a positive outlook on the whole process… because when 90 Days hits I know I will feel very proud.
  • In!
Meat free 99% of the time. (1% cheat for turkey day)
No mindless snacking from the box/bag
    Breakfast everyday!!
No more large dinners before bed.
    NO HOLIDAY JUNK!
Healthy Thanksgiving dinner, I'm in charge so it will be easy to control.
Hopefully my treadclimber comes in soon so I can get started with work-outs. For the moment I'm sticking to low impact as my joints seem to be having a hissy for some reason. @.@

2: Eat at least three pieces of fruit a day
3: Eat at least three pieces of veggies

  • Hey Hoofstails =)

Welcome to 3FC and Welcome to the challenge!

Keep checking in often and let us know how you're doing and if we can help you in any way
  • I want to do this. I need to think about my plan and what I want to be held accountable for.
  • Hey Sumnerfan Sure thing!
  • Calories today came in at just over 1300.
Today I bought a whole load of hatch green chillies. Not that I have a gas stove to roast them. I have an electric stove and it took FOREVER to roast two zip bags worth.
funny thing is i can just roast them in the oven, Soooo tomorrow morning after work I'm roasting chilli!
It's just not autumn without roasting a years worth of green chilli ^.^

Weight is starting to move down finally (after 2 weeks stuck in a rut)
  • This is just what I need to get my butt through all these fun upcoming holidays! I'm in.

I think your #1 is good Lovely. Still be here and posting at day 90.
#2 Eat healthy. Choose fruits, veggies, and lean meats. Do not stuff self face first into pumpkin pie.
    #3 Workout...stick with C25K & weight lifting 3x a week
#4 Enjoy the holidays! My life is not on hold simply because I'm losing weight.
  • This challenge should help me stay on track so thanks for starting this thread.

    GOALS:
    1. Drink only water
    2. Exercise at least 3x a week
    3. No fried food
    4. Make it thru 90 days and lose at least 15-20lbs
  • Sakai - Grats on the weight moving down!

Day 1: Done! And done pretty well, at that.

I got in a good walk. I stayed on target with food. Although my sleep could always use improvement... This weekend I'm going to go grocery shopping and make some healthy food plans for the week.

    Onto Day 2
