  • I have no catchy little intro this month, just a burning desire to LOSE THIS WEIGHT!! Anyone is welcome to join us here this month to give and get some support on this weight loss journey. We have some great successes every month, and I can't wait to see all those who will meet their goals in October!

    The rules of our challenge are simple. We are here to provide each other some accountability along the path to weight loss, so just set a weight loss related goal(s) and I'll add it to our goal list for the month. When you reach your goal for the month it will be turned RED in our goal list!

    We have a sister thread for exercise goals, http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/chic...challenge.html, and all your exercise-related goals can be posted there; this thread is for weight loss goals specifically.

    We love to hear about your success as well as your challenges throughout the month, so please share them with us. We're here to support and encourage each other to be our best.

  • Despite my best efforts September just hasn't gone the way I had hoped! I'm not totally ready to write it off yet though, as I still have another day to fight for a bigger loss, and fight I will. I'll post a starting weight and goal for October on Saturday morning after I see how September finishes up.

  • I'm starting at 130.

    Want to lose 3lb in Oct, so target = 127.

    I've got a 4-day holiday in the middle which involves lots of eating and drinking so the main challenge for October will be to negotiate that with minimum upset, and possibly more challenging will be to resort straight back to diet afterwards!

    Oh, and i've got an interstate work trip for 4 days the first week in Oct, and another interstate work trip for the last 10 days of Oct - so i'm only going to be at home a few days! (And an interstate friend visiting staying with us next weekend, so basically none of this month is 'normal'!)

    Now i've just remembered all that, perhaps my 3lb is a bit ambitious!!

  • I'm a bit nervous about October since I had such a fantastic September and surpassed my goal of 8lbs... Since the numbers have been down, I've been a bit lax about calorie counting, but I don't want to stay too relaxed so my goal for October is 10lbs. wish me luck!!!
  • Hii i am new to 3fc and i would like to join this challenge. I am about 122 or maybe a bit more since i have eaten horribly this week. I am hoping to go down to 117. I would love to make my goal a little lower for october but at the same time i dont want make it unachievable and dissapoint myself. I might change my goal if i feel like i am making progress.
  • Ooh, I want to join! I'm starting at 175, and I'd like to lose 6 pounds, to meet my mini goal of 169.
  • Hey everyone! Im up for a challenge

    My goal for October, is to get to the lower half of the 70's kg range. So, I'm aiming for a high of 75kg (165p) by the end of the month.

    Currently, I am sitting on 78.2kg, meaning I am aiming for a minimum loss of 3.2kg or 7 pounds this month.

    When I originally sat down and thought about my goals, I envisioned myself heading to 75 at Christmas... so if I do this, I'm going to be nearly 2 months ahead of where I wanted to be.
  • September wasn't as blockbuster as I'd hoped, so hopefully October will be better...

    I'm at 210, still hoping to get 10 lbs down in a month and maybe even into Onederland, so I'm going to set my goal to 11 lbs down and 199.
  • My goal or this month is to lose 8 lbs. Me and my son have a exercise challenge with each other for this month so hopfully it will happen. I am 230 would like to be at 222 by halloween. Good luck everyone.

  • Hehehe... Chickadee... I am with your for the last weighing tomorrow morning... I will fight til the VERY last end, LOL!!!! I will be setting my goal, once more, at 6Lbs... however... I do not have an official start/goal weight yet until the last buzzer goes off tomorrow morning,

    my goal for october is to lose 9 pounds, and get to 239.9 or lower. passing 240 would be 60 pounds and 20% of my starting body weight lost (i started at 300) and i'm very much looking forward to getting past that mark!
  • I'm in. Iwas MIA for most of September, but I managed tro surpass my goal last month. I was shooting for 135 and got 134.

    So this month I'm going to shoot for the stars and hope to lose 5 pounds and get into the 120s. :-)
  • I haven't been doing my best since July, and though I have lost some weight it as been at a very slooow pace, and honestly, with very little effort on my part. I keep 'playing' with the same 5 pounds over and over again. I want to get rid of that 5 pounds for good, and then proceed to reach my goal weight. So, I am IN!

    I want to lose 7 pounds in October.
  • I'm in! I missed my September goal of 10lbs by 0.5lbs!!! VERY frustrating! So I did think about lowering my goal to 8lbs to make sure I achieve it but that's just defeatist so i'm going for 10lbs off in October too My starting weight is 213. By the end of October Onederland will be in sight
