It took a year to lose the 37 pounds to reach 150. My range is no more than 153, but it is a struggle to do it.
Over the past two months, I have managed to never go above 155.
I would truly like to get to 140 as a permanent weight.
For October, my goal is to get under 150 pounds and stay there.
Bounce around under 150 until I feel strong enough to go a little further.
October goal: Less than 150 pounds.

Default My October Goals

This year is winding down. My goal on 1/1 was to lose weight and get fit. So far I am 20 pounds down but I'd like to take off another 20 before 1/1/12. The only way to do this is to stay OP and keep working out. Committing to this challenge to stay OP for the month will help me to do this.

Here are my goals for Oct:

1. Stay OP and track my WW Points daily in eTools
2. Limit my snacks
3. Eat more Power Foods and less junk foods
4. Exercise at least 5 days a week for 30 or more minutes
5. Do Ab work 3 times a week
6. Get in at least 6-8 water servings daily
7. Post here daily
8. Stop eating after 8PM

October is my favorite month, so I'm going to make it a great month.

Here are my goals for October:
  • Run 3x a week for at least 3 miles
  • Do some form of exercise on the days that I do not run
  • Practice eating intuitively and mindfully
  • Try more organic food choices
  • Reduce the amount of caffeine I drink

My husband I are going to TTC starting right after Halloween, so I am going to try to clean up some of my eating and caffeine intake.

I know everyone is going to have a great month...I can just feel it!

I had a great September doing this challenge and I'm definitely in for a great October too. I'm hoping that this will be the month I hit Onederland!!

My October goals

1. continue OP with food (have been OP since I started the Dukan Diet on 5/22 and plan to keep it that way!).

2. Try to lose 10 lbs and get to Onederland in October. I'm coming off a ~14 lb month in September so I may see a slow down, but I'm going to still try for 10!

3. 20 minutes minimum activity daily. That will be 30 minutes or more most days, but there is one exercise video I do that is 22 minutes and I am going to count days when I do only that, but I will be trying for 30 minutes or more as much as I can.

4. check in daily (and try to do personals when I can!)

Starting weight 10/1: 208.8

I'm excited to join this challenge for the first time! I just started trying to lose weight at the beginning of last month and I'm thrilled to be down 10lbs already. Now I'm worried that I won't be able to sustain the weight loss, so I'm going to pump it up a bit this month, but not too much as I want to stick to it. :P

October goals:

1. swim laps for 45min at least 10 times
2. go jogging (or brisk walking when I start "dying") 30min at least 12 times
3. be mindful what I eat, and estimate calories
4. do my little routine of stretches/crunches/squats every day
5. check in here regularly (at least 4 times a week)

my birthday is at the end of this month, so I'm super excited to be turning 25 while taking control of my life!!!

This is my first on-plan challenge and I’m excited to join in this month!

My October goals:

1. Stay on plan all month, even on (Canadian) Thanksgiving in a week and a half.
2. Lose 6 lbs to reach 166 (a total of 30 lbs lost!)
3. Walk for an hour a day, at least 6 days each week.
4. Don’t drink diet pop.
5. Check in here regularly (at least 3x per week).

I'm in too! Greetings to the newcomers! I just joined this group recently and it has been a super supportive and motivational bunch! I'm so thankful to have been referred!!

OCTOBER GOALS
OK. This is it. I'm going to make a POUND goal this month. I usually do not do that but I feel much healthier mentally about weight loss right now than I have in a long time. I saw 209 on the scale this a.m. I have been slowly nudging my way down the last few weeks. I am sure that I can do better if I fight for it. SO.......my goal for the end of October is to get to Onederland! If I do not make it, at least I will be closer. (I am really not sure if I can lose 2+ lbs a week. But, there is no reason not to try!)

Keep working toward my 60 days challenge. After all, that will get me closer to my first goal!

Work on an exercise routine. I was really active over the summer and it was my saving grace. My eating program needed work and still does even though I've come a long way. I'm sure if I hadn't been exercising, I would have gained a good deal of weight this summer. Fall is here and cold season changes what I'm able to do in this winter wonderland called Minnesota. So, my goal is to get into a good solid exercise routine. My plan is cardio one day, lifting the next and 6 days of exercise most weeks but no less than 5 days. I'm considering myself "in training" for something big this spring. I might do another 100 miler in April or train for a triathlon. I'm not sure which yet.

That's enough for me. It's plenty to work on for the next 31 days!

Let's have another super month ladies!

October Challenge:

1. Calorie goal: 1600-1800 (low on no-workout days, high on workout days)
2. Weight goal: 239.9 (loss of 8.8 pounds)
3. Exercise goal: 3-4x per week in the fitness center! (16 total for the month)
4. Thread goal: As much as I can, better than the last time I was here!
5. Water goal: 80oz per day every day!

alright guys. i know i totally missed last month, and most of august. i'm a horrible awful supporter! you guys are always so motivated and that keeps me motivated and i should make it a point to come here more. SO I WILL.

here's the scoop: august i got really sick, then quit my job, packed up and moved from VA to SC. the whole month of august was a weight loss nightmare. fast food and comfort food all over the place. somehow i managed to only gain 3.3 pounds from my low weight. then in september i got back to work on my weight loss. but since i was not working anymore i lowered my calories to the 1300-1500 range, which ended up being way too low. i didn't lose anything for the first 3 weeks of september. i stayed right at 252 the whole time. last week i made the decision to go back up to the range i was using before (1600-1800), and after a week on the higher calorie range i am back down to my low of 248.7 (3.3 pounds in a week!)... so i'm back and i will continue on with my loss! the 2 month stall really was a pain in the booty, but at least it was standing still instead of going backwards!

i missed you guys!

Sooo excited to join in my first Fitness Challenge! That being said, here are my four Goals:

1) No sugar or bread (oh goodness...it's soup, hot chocolate, and pie season...give me strength!)
2) Complete a Fall 5K (Oct. 8th)
3) Just like September, DO NOT get on the scale to find out how many pounds I have lost...use how I feel and clothing to judge my progress, success, etc.
4) Try something new....like boxing, bootcamp, etc.

Ok...here I go!
