Jill - Thank you, took the pic the other day and was just happy to see my eyes were starting to show, LOL. I have narrow eyes and high cheekbones per genetics, you add fat to that and the eyes disappear (like Hudini, lol). They are starting to show now :) I think they MAY be a spammer, but, with another post in the community and it being different (yes I looked, lol), I wanted to be sure I got my girls' backs :)

I managed to kick the gym's a$$ last night :) Did a full body strength workout and then ended with some pilates (cause I love the stretch that's also involved). Pretty proud of the accomplishment. Lately have had to do either upper body OR lower body... not last night... did the whole body... so tonight will be cardio focused :) Tomorrow night the folks will be arriving in the evening, so that will be my rest day ;)

Elliptical last night... lower body, cardio blast was the workout setting. A little worried to get on scale this Saturday knowing I am "pre"TOM and holding onto everything on my body/in my body right now, :lol: I have 3 days, including today to lose that last .4 Lbs to meet my September weight loss goal... here's hoping!
It's so quiet in here lately - I hope everyone is ok My parents are in the air to their first layover city, then catch connecting flight to get them here tonight! I will only be able to check in when at work over the next 3-4 weeks, but so worth it to spend valuable time with them :) |
Someone PLEASE tell my why I do squats? My legs are on FIRE! I took a day off yesterday but ate within my calorie limit. Got back into the gym and did some cardio. Im hoping to get some weights in tomorrow.
Blah the scale isnt moving humph. BUT Ive gone down some inches so Maybe im holding in some water that needs to not be there. Time to flush the system out. Question for anyone doing c25k. Is anyone using the iphone/ipod app? If so do you like it? |
2 more days until weigh in :) I'm definitely ready for tomorrow, because thursday is one of my days off :) yay!

Jill - I have worked out everyday except Wednesday (the day I picked up my parents at the airport)... but my scale is not moving and only have .4 to lose to hit my goal for the month... frustrating! I am still pleased with the progress though... made Onederland this month, took off almost the full 6Lbs I was shooting for... last WI is tomorrow morning... soooo hoping to see the .4 gone, but... we shall see :) I sure hope you see some movement!!!! Will keep fingers crossed for ya!

Jill - It so is... hasn't started yet, but I am holding enough water to flood the desert I live in, LOL!!! I was just so looking forward to hitting my September challenge. It's cool though... I have overall done some losing for the month and that is the important part - to realize everything is moving in the right direction:) Got on the scale to end the month and saw 198.6... so ... I am getting some lemons when I grocery shop today to help disperse the evil water from my body :P Of course strength training was last night and a contributor too, but... no excuse to just let it be either - can you say "motivational tool?" LOL!!!!! You and I can feed off each other for support for October... come out ahead of where we thought possible!!!! You want to step it up... I will need the extra encouragement since I am doing all this with my folks here this month (and I so want to slack to just chat and hang with them)... so I am going to be shooting for 6Lbs again, but going to pay for it by stepping up higher in Nov and Dec for 10Lbs each. If I am able to do more this month, I won't have to kill myself the other 2 months, LOL
Lauren - I am still a ways from my Christmas goal too... Although, I am going to shoot for the stars and see how far I get :) It is still a win for us no matter how that number dwindles... just as long as we see, feel, and know the difference and the scale does go in the right direction as proof our work is paying off :) |
