Default FIERCE September Challenge

Hello
this is a continued chat, original August Challenge for all
just want friends to challenge myself with... so any personal challenges you have for yourself are welcome.. if it is losing a certain amount of weight or limiting your favorite bad foods, no soda etc. This will be a 4 1/2 week, all of August challenge to see if you can stick to whatever small or big goal you set for yourself!

Friday weigh INS

& I added FIERCE to the challenge name because losing Weight does take a strong fierce woman

Goals:
--lose 10 lbs
--NO BINGING this month
--work out 6/7 days a week for at LEAST 45 min, no laziness!

Greetings! Hope everyone had a relaxing Labor Day weekend.

Jillnichole--thanks for starting another fierce monthly challenge

My weight loss goal for September is overly optimistic. In order to nearly achieve it, I'll have to work out twice per day, six days per week. No cheats with the eats.

This is the month to find Onderland--and reach 30 lb weight loss!

Best wishes to all toward reaching our goals!

YAY! I have to go to the Doctor tomorrow and ill see what his scale says but the one at the gym i always weigh myself on said 199! yay! hello Onerland. I hope it goes down more bc Im all gross and bloated.

I did have a NSV when i randomly decided to go run after work. I do go to the gym all the time and do cardio but for some reason for me its not the same from a machine to the actual pavemnet. That being said I was able to go out and run a mile without stopping. Needless to say I was excited!

JillNicole: What's your goals for this month?

I have been doing okay eating. I took 2 days off and did some giving in to the salt cravings for the month. I mostly cured it with rice and beans...yum. Not too much exercise--was sick over the weekend and really couldn't bring myself to do anything besides playing with the kids and house work. I wrestled with my client for half the day today so that better be somne calories gone!

I have good news--doctor visit this afternoon. My cholesterol was off the scale--LOW! LOL--total cholesterol 114 (normal low is 140). My A1C was 5.7--in non-diabetic range after just 3 months! Doc had challenged me to lose 8 lbs over the past six weeks. I lost eleven lbs!
Doc kept shaking his head in amazement, then he was seriously doing the happy dance, calling me "Bones" An excellent day!

Hello my Gorgeous Fierce friends!! Sorry I haven't been posting lots! My weird training schedule at work has me all upside down!! 3 weeks of this late schedule.. Hopefully I'll get use to it by the end if the week

My goals:
Walk at least 4x week
Eat healthy meals, with nutritional value!
Allowed 1 bad day a week, but not to bad
& of course keep journaling my daily meals (I do this in a paper book & move it to my food blog once a week)
Dance more around the house! (I need to be silly more!)
Notice 1 small thing that makes me smile each day!


My smile today:
I went grocery shopping after work at 11pm lol and the guy behind me in line ran in front of me while I was paying and bagged all my groceries for me! (this was a store that you have to bag yourself). What a little sweetie

Other than that my boyfriend & I broke up a couple weeks ago... So just hitting me the last few days, so feeling a little sad/ lonely... But Im making it a point to go out, see friends, and thats why I added realizing one small thing a day that makes me smile!!

Goals -
down 7 lbs for the month
achieve 1200 calories or higher more than half the month
keep the exercise trend going!

Floriduh - wow you are so close to the time you can put a "1" in front of your weight!!!! Check it out! :O Look at the super numbers you got at the doctors!!!

Lauren - Excellent job on your onederland success! Also a great NSV goal accomplished!!!!! So happy for you!

sheramama - wrestling with clients ALWAYS counts as exercise! LOL!!!!

JillNicole - it's amazing the delayed reaction that sometimes occurs when things like a break up happen... I am so glad you are doing a smile a day!!! How awesome an idea!!!!

ItsMyTurn: I am so glad you joined us again!!!!

Well, tomorrow is my little man's 5th birthday. So, I made a ton of "healthier" cupcakes for his pre-k class and after school, we are all going to the one pizza place that has a play place for dinner (his choice). We'll have a little party tomorrow, then the Chuck E. Cheese one Sat.

I also have an interview tomorrow. It's not a glam job but it has benefits and they actually give raises, unlike where I work. Cross your fingers for me!!! Today, I did eat GREAT, though I really didn't have time to work out. I just finally sat down for the first time all day. Whew. Now, it's bed. Have a good one!

sheramama - I found it by clicking on your name from PM and following your posts, LOL. I was looking for a different thread name... my bad, lol. Sounds like your little guy is going to have a super birtday! What a great fun way to spend it!!!! Good luck on your interview!!!!

Thank you Floriduh!!!! I was scared to get on scale this week due to medical as well as TOM starting officially yesterday, but... I tried it anyway and watched the number go down... amazing and so loving it... you and I are heading into Onederland, we are SOOOOOOOO close!
