W.O.W. Memorial day challenge 2 weeks left
Alrighty I am starting a new thread today.
Life goes back to crazy for me today. Swim team MWF and Lessons TTH. So I will be working out On swim team nights at the gym. Yesterday I pretty much lounged around, with an hour of swimming with the kiddos. Today W 80 oz E run E 1400 cals. D no sugar; housework. |

I have been MIA for many months - and doing lots of yo-yo dieting over that time. I think I am going to ease back in these last two weeks and hopefully be into this full swing for the next WEED challenge. W - 64 oz. E - a little bit of a DVD in the morning; small walk in the afternoon E - 1350 calories D - avoid late night snacking I hope everyone is doing well. |

Good morning -
Thanks for the welcome back Jeni and Mavis. It feels good to be back. I really like the WEED. Even though no one is checking on me just by announcing my daily WEED here helps me stick to it when I want to eat at night. I think that not only does it help that the WEED is daily but breaking it into the four parts makes it like four mini goals to keep me focused. So yesterday was successful. Baby steps helps. I really appreciate the support this site provides. Mavis - I am with you about dwelling on the bad stuff, it is so easy to fall into that pattern. I think the weather being rainly and gloomy doesn't help especially after a long winter. When the weather is better, I think I am more positive. I think by making that your daily affirmation today you will find your food focus better to stay on plan. Good luck. Today's WEED - W - 64 oz. No time yesterday to do two miles after work so I only did one mile. But I got a short walk in.

Popcorn - good to see you back! Jeni & Mavis - hi! Doing good, DH is out of town for work until tomorrow night :( Just trying to get the last minute list of things finished up before the baby. My gardens are a mess and need some serious weeding but I don't know that that's going to happen - oh well, the exterior of my house will just be 'unsightly' for a little while. Getting our vegetable garden in this weekend will be an accomplishment in itself. Weigh in's tomorrow...eek! |

I've been out and naughty (and not in the oh-so-good way I would like to be ;)). Monday, I woke up to chest pains and numbness in my right arm. I ended up in the hospital and was diagnosed with a pinched nerve. :dz: So they drugged me up and sent me home with orders to take the rest of the week off. I go back to work on Sat. My eating has been just shyt. There will definitely be a gain on Friday. I start my new shift Sat (overnight: 10 pm to 7 am) and I'm hoping both my eating and sleep will get back on track now that I will be having steady hours instead of the insane hours they were giving me. Since it's almost a given that I will not be able to go home for a visit this summer, I'm looking into taking summer courses at school. The only problem would be that I would have to pay out of pocket since I'm getting my summer financial aid request in late. We'll see what happens. Hope you all are doing great! :grouphug: |

Yesterdays WEED went well.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are going to be hard for me to get exercise in since those are the class nights. Class doesn't provide any exercise either because the dog and I are running in sixty second intervals and we only get about 4 turns tops. So I can't count that as exercise. Jeni - I hope today's workout is uninterupted. Emily - thanks for the warm welcome. Congratulations on the baby. This gives all of the WEED women something to look forward to. JasonsLea - Glad it was only a pinched nerve. A regular schedule certainly does help with weight loss. I am trying to force myself to get in a regular bed routine and it just isn't happening. Mavis - nice daily affirmation. I may have to adopt that. Today's WEED - W - 64 0z. I am doing well, busy busy busy, dealing with my 14 year old son who is still an alien, work, work and more work and I am taking a class that requires a lot of reading and studying. I work 5 am to 2 pm, go to the gym come home make dinner study and pass out by 7 pm or 8 pm. I had Mirena placed and have been having moderate side effects, mainly fatigue so i have been a bit off my game. Sorry my posting has been erratic. On a good note, i haven't seen my sister in about 4 months and I saw her at the grocery store and when she saw me she did a double take cuz it didn't look like she recognized me. She said absolutely nothing about my weight loss since I have started. Not a peep. Makes me kind of sad. anyway W- between 64 and 100 oz E- right on track with calories E- off day for exercise D - keep believing in myself |

Sounds like you have the same never pleasant sister that I do. Jeni has one too I think. Her loss. Just keep doing well for you!! (and in spite of her!) Gotta go clean, both boys came home from college. One Thursday night and one last night and what a pile of laundry they bring with them!! |

Hey ladies -
Well...the garden didn't get done. My DH convinced me to take a last minute weekend getaway before the baby's here. My in-laws watched the boys and we spent Sat/Sun in Philly - went to a festival, Phillies game, spent the night at a pretty swank hotel and hit the Reading Terminal Market before we came back home. We've never taken a weekend away since Connor was born so it was really nice. Food of course was not healthy - roasted pork sandwiches at the game, an amazing brunch at the hotel plus some treats from the market. My only saving grace is we did a ton of walking. Hope everyone had a great weekend! |

Hi guys.
Tommy is still sick. His fever is down to 100. but this is day number 5 with it. His doctor isn't in today, so I will probably be heading back to see her tomorrow. He is getting back to normal, when his fever is down enough. But he is only up for about an hour a day right now. I am so hoping Mak doesn't get this. I have bleached and lysol'ed my entire house twice. Hand sanitizer and dial are my best friends right now. |

Jeni, hope things are healthier this weekend! I start my first vacation of the summer today. Still working on real estate but not my other job...for 16 glorious days. DH & I are going away for the second 1/2 of it. Cannot wait. We have not been away in over 2 years. So badly need it! |
