hey quick question.. do you guys use the treadmill? and if you do what speed do you jog at ? and what week should i start? I usually jog until i cant anymore where i briefly walk for a minute then go back to jogging, i can usually jog about 5 minutes straight then walk for a minute, i can maintain this for about 20 minutes

Hello - just introducing myself. I am new to 3FatChicks but have been doing C25K for several weeks. I am doing w5d3 tomorrow and really nervous about the 20 minute run. Well, maybe skeptical is more the word for it. I did not enjoy the two 8' runs from w5d2 and this seems like a big jump to me.

Anyway, wanted to say hi. I have the c25k app for my iphone and will move right into the "bridge to 10k" app after... have a half marathon on the calendar in June 2011! (All the while I am thinking "what the **** did I get myself into!")

Hey plumblossum! Welcome! I use my iPhone with the c25k app too! It's awesome! I also use Loseit! To track calories and Nike + to track my distance/pace and all that jazz! How is the bridge to 10k? Thought about downloading it after I "graduate" from c25k! I'm restarting W5 today bc I didn't get a chance to run over my break. How did w5.d3 go? I'm curious to see if the 20 min run is a huge jump or If it's do-able.

Hows everyone else doing out thrre? Hope all is well and that the holidays treated everyone good!

Nice to meet you CutieCourt! I am happy, no... I am THRILLED to report that I completed w5d3. Wow - 20 minute was tough but, much to my delight, I did make it. While I am proud, it was definitely tough! I am happy to go back to walk/run intervals for the next run, though. I know that it will be short-lived and I'll be doing 25 minute on Sunday.

I downloaded the B210K last week because I wanted to look at the program... looks tough but I imagine it's doable. Has lots of good feedback so I figured it's best just to have it there and ready to go. I am happy to post the program if you want to take a look at it and see if it is for you.

So, are you doing your 20 min run this weekend, then?

Just a quick update... did w6d1 today... man was it hard. I think I have a touch of a cold so I believe that is why it seemed so hard but it was, well... TORTURE. I am proud that I did it but GEESH!
