and I'm planning an OP day.....

Not sure if I can make my September goal - but I'm going to try. I'm also going to wait until the 30th to change my weight tickers.
Amazing what eating anything & everything I want does to me!

Here's my daily September weight record just to prove to myself in black & white what happens when I go off program

9/1 =227.0
9/2=225.8
9/3=225.8
9/4=225.8
9/5=224.6
9/6=224.0
9/7=223.0
9/8=223.0
9/9 Out of town until 9/14
9/14=232.6

Well, so far I've let this month slip away from me. I was up to 180 this morning. I am very close to TOM though, and my birthday (21st) was this past weekend and I indulged in a little too much candy. Not to mentioned I've been fighting a terrible depressed mood that hit me a few weeks ago and wouldn't go away.

This seems to be the pattern I've been stuck in for the past, like, year. I have a good month, then the next month I undo it all. Urg. I have to stop this.

*sigh* Anyway, I'm forcing myself back on track now and I'll see how much damage I can fix for the start of next month.

Eeek! I just realized I hadn't been here to check in for almost a week. Of course my eating is reflecting that. Weekends are the worst of course, so I am thinking maybe I should start coming by then too so that in my mind they don't become "do what I want" days.

So glad September is almost over though. I can now focus in October and what I hope to accomplish then.

I am sending a big cheer to all of you who are making good progress and are close to reaching your September goal

To all of us that are struggling a big , let's stick through this together.

We've had a really good salmon run this year, so it's really cheap right now. On Saturday I went and bought a whole fish for $20, now I am staring at it wondering what to do with it. It's just the 2 of us, so cooking/freezing it whole is not the best idea. I've never had to fillet a fish before. I guess today is as good a time as ever to learn lol.

Congrats Avezy!

I loved DC. There was so much to see. We walked all over the mall and through countless museums but I still managed to put on a few pounds. But I am back to my routine so I should be able to get back to the business of losing now.

Hey, sorry not posted much this month, just dropping in to say I met goal. In fact, I intended to lose 6lbs and I lost 8

Weighed at 172 this morning so I'm thrilled with that, seems all the exercise paid off

A huge YAHOO!!! to those who met goal!

I'm not doing very well at checking in here early in the day since the days just take off without me sometimes, but none-the-less, I've been fairly OP and the weight has stabilized. The wooshes from last week gave me hope of reaching goal, but it appears quite unlikely now. No biggie, though since I made good progress and feel good. I'm off to my parents' tomorrow to visit and get some stuff done there, so it'll be another late check-in tomorrow, but it's helpful to check-in even if it's not early in the day like I'd prefer. It reminds me to stay on track because I want to be able to share my successes with you all!

Check In Time

Yesterday was OP until dinner time So far this month I'm 3lbs heavier than when September started. I'm going in the wrong direction.


Today I'm going to spend time some quiet time with myself and pull myself out of whatever funk I'm in.

Good morning all I had plans on starting to go to the gym in the mornings before work, but I was so tired I really hate working off hours. I work from 11am - 7pm. Not enough time in the morning and no time at night. I am trying to get a routine down to get to bed a little earlier so wish me luck on that one. As for me I am at 200.2 those 200's are just hanging on grr...

At least I am doing much better with checking in here like I wanted to and you all have helped me so much to stay motivated Thank you all!!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful day

Unfortunately still hanging on to those extra pounds from DC. If they can go on so fast, why o why can't they go off quickly also! I realize I need to be patient though and stay on plan. It works eventually, just not quickly.

mystical-Sorry u missed your exercise. I missed mine today due to a bad night sleeping. Sleep is important too though!

susiemartin-I try to keep the big picture in mind. Trust in yourself and your ability to move forward and try not to worry over the bumps in the road. You have done really well overall. I believe there is more weight loss in our future.

Ms Perception-It is apparent I have also missed my goal for this month. I knew it was a long shot but I figured it was worth a try. So I will try to salvage what I can for September and then it is on to the next monthly goal.

susiemartin: Hope you have an OP day today. Maybe checking in more than once a day would help you?

mystical: Yeah, that work schedule seems a bit wonky to me. I used to have one like that and I could never get anything done during the day, it felt like I just spent the morning getting ready to go to work. I hope you can figure out a way to go to the gym early and get a routine going.

terapet: Glad you enjoyed DC, too bad about the lbs. though, I hope they leave you soon.

I'm im a funk and not eating as well as I would like. I sure hope October brings better things for me!
