Tiara, I did have fun at the fair, saw a baby calf, just an hour old. He was just trying to stand for the first time. I must admit though, that to be enjoyed, the fair needs children. I missed having little boys last night...
Today is a crazy busy day, but I plan to try to get it all in.
Jeni, Happy anniversary!
Silver, a peaceful day to you as well, sending you good vibes.
I can't stay here today, have a ton to get to.
W 100
E OP, good choices
E Have to run, have not run in 3 days, a dear friend passed away unexpectedly last weekend at a young age and this week has been crammed with unhappy occasions and no time for anything
D Peace & praise. The friend is in a better place and I have been blessed with a wonderful family and great supportive friends both here and on-line!
Mothermavis, I agree. Can't imagine a fair without the young ones. Popcorn, hope you can have an especially lovely day today to balance out those Fridays. Tiara, Emily, and Jeni, hope you are doing well.
Today's WEED:
W: one gallon plus
E: usual
E: keep my plan
D: Mindfulness and pray more.
Sending you all best wishes for an especially nice day and success.

OK, it's official, I am a redneck. Went to my cousin's anniversary party last night. It was at the family farm, my gramps place that my aunt & uncle now own. It was a cookout type deal. My cousin fixes cranes for a living so he is very mechanical. He has rigged up about 6 old lawn mowers with bumpers and we had bumper car lawn mower races. I won. The 44 yr old slightly overweight one beat all the 20 something men and one other girl.
Good morning everyone. I don't think I checked in yesterday. I was recovering a bit from my night without the kids (which was nice, but too much vodka )
In about an hour my step-dad will be in surgery getting a kidney transplant. I will be heading up there soon. I'm praying for him as well as the family that lost a loved one. I'll post more tonight.
My step-dad made it through surgery with flying colors!!! he was looking very good when we left. the next 2 days are critical so keeping my prayers going for him.
I wont know until later if my sisters are coming to stay with me. My youngest (15) is a very emotional girl, so I hope she decides to stay with me so I can baby her.
