August 8th 190.8 - an unexpectedly good week!:) August 15th 188.9 - OK, slowing down but still 5.4 off, half way there! August 22nd 187.4 - Even slower but still going. 6.9lbs gone. Gonna be a near-run thing! August 29th 195.4 - Faster pace this week. 8.9lbs gone. Will I make it? Watch this space! |

you guys are doing great! Rosinate- I can only imaging you meant to put 185 not 195- thats what I updated with anyway... I think I will do this again next month even though I really really did horribly and so far only gained this month :( Starting over fresh today and not going to beat myself up over it but we should have a challenge next month too! Who's with me?! |

248 today, but smack in the middle of TOM, so I'll try not to cry! I'm hoping tomorrow will be a good day and that somehow, magically, the scale will show 245 on the 31st. I'm really trying not to get down on myself for not making the 10 lb goal, because even the 7 that I have as of today is good. I just really wanted that 10, and I know I could have been there if I had just worked harder. I guess we'll see what the next two days bring!

Sorry so late, but no change AT ALL in over a week :( getting pissy about it, but whatever- won't make 10 lbs but I'm up for the challenge next month, def helped me keep a goal and accountable even if I didn't manage to lose all 10!

Today the scale bounced back a bit in the direction I wanted! I must be getting rid of some of this TOM water weight because I was at 246.2 today, so even if I don't go down by tomorrow, I've lost 9 lbs since the beginning of the month, and I'm not going to cry about that! Not to mention, my original goal for August (not in this thread) was to get to 248, so I already achieved that one. Yay for me!

Ok, so here is what happened:
Starting weight on August 1: 202.3 lbs. End of August goal: 192.3 lbs. Current weight: 194.9 I didn't reach goal, but 7 lbs. for this month ain't too shabby considering I had my kids sick for two weeks out of the month and then last week, I couldn't work out at all because I was home with my son (he just went back to school yesterday). So all in all, I'm pleased, even though I would have loved to lose a bit more. As long as it's headed in the right direction, that's a good thing. ;) |
