Is it okay if I join? I have a hard time tracking as well, but have somehow managed to make it to day 3 today. I bought a new journal that I like a lot better then my old one, which has weirdly inspired me to write and track more...

Talking

Hey Kim-

Welcome! I use stickers in addition to new and cool journals..... LOL it is odd but getting a sticker for everyday I track can be motivating to me.

How is everyone doing? I had to change my daily plan, but have tracked it!

I hope everyone is rocking this challenge. Does anyone want to talk about what really helps them track? What do you do? What doesn't work?

akacutie~ stickers are a great idea!

I color code, weird, a little, but I really like to feel organized and color coding helps me find stuff easier in my journal. For example, I track food with green, write about my ups and downs with day in blue, track weight with black and outline my tracking boxes with red. I'm also really into writing down when I feel hungry and trying to find patterns of high hunger so I can plan snacks for those times and avoid binging...

I tracked yesterday. 3 days now, on to day 4. And yes I am doing better about my eating. This particular challenge has helped.

New journals and stickers motivate me, too. I haven't done stickers in a while but I do still have some and should start using them. It's amazing that a itty bitty sticker will even motivate adults.

Congratulations AKACutie!

I've lost 2 pounds this week also. I'm going to stop by school and get some stickers for my food journal. Maybe I'll get the Disney Princess ones that my 2nd graders labeled babyish.

I haven't tried anything fancy with my journal. I bought a pretty one at Target that fits in my purse. I'm more likely to write every bite down if I have the journal with me.

I went to a fun party last night. But, it was a potluck. Don't think I'll be able to remember the little tastes of different dishes I had last night. Have a great day everyone.

Thanks for starting this challenge AKA. I think it's going to be a great one and hopefully we will all have a good habit by the time we are done.

I'm still here. I have tracked 6 days in a row now. Everyday! This challenge has really helped me. I haven't done very good on my eating for about 3 days now, but I am tracking every bite.

Thanks for starting this challenge.

Default Hey All-

It was a rough week for but I am back on day 2! Yesterday I tracked everything and even stayed in my points range! WI was not great with a gain of 2.2.... So I am back at my quest of making tracking a habit! I am shooting for 21 days straight!

How are you all doing with your new habit?

Still tracking.
Unfortunately, I'm writing down lots of junk food on that list.

My kids have been having too many parties and there is too much junk around here. Yuck!

Can I join? My boyfriend just bought an iPhone and I inherited his iPod touch (!!). I just downloaded an app called tap and track and it makes it pretty easy to write everything down! Tracking my calories is the only way I've really ever had success so I guess it's gotta be done although it's a pain...

Talking Definately-

Welcome...

I am on day 3. Yesterday wasn't good food wise, but I tracked it! Ugh-

Are you calorie counting? Tell us a little about you.

My name is Tracy. I am a nursing student in a super faced program. I am a newlywed, 7 months now. I am a pet mommy to 2 tiny chihuahuas. Overall, I am just super busy. Oh, I have been working on weight loss for well over a year and a half, I know my loss has really slowed down and it is because I am not taking the time to track most days now. I lose but really slowly- the last 5 lbs took 3 months! Ugh!!
