Week 5 is upon us. Boy time is flying!!! I'm following the same pattern I was during the summer. Its irritating, but without my worknight workouts, I don't think I will get back down to 136.
The good news is I have take my measurements and have lost at least 1/2 inch in my booty, waist, and legs over the last month. So the scale is really just a number right? Next shopping trip I am going to go in and try on a size 4 because my 6's are getting too big. So I'm trying not to focus to hard on that scale!
W 80 oz
E 50 cardio 10 weights
E 1400 cals
D keep moving.

MM~yes use my marathon a month!!! I love having that keeping me on track with my running.
Mindy~Sorry I forgot to post the link this morning.
I'm having a rough time right now. The toughest thing is I can't do anything about it. Mindy and MM may remember my stupid A$$ sister who I had trouble with a couple years ago. Well the trouble is back and worse. I think I need to find a way to stage an intervention or something. If there were drugs or alcohol involved maybe it would make sense. But she is just selfish pure and simple. I cant take her breaking my neices and nephews hearts again.
Stepped on the scale today and it was 167!!! How am I gaining weight? I haven't been an angel but I'm not eating terribly by any means - ugh. Hanging outside while the boys play enjoying this beautiful breezy evening.
Mindy - don't give up, try focusing on health at the moment and not weight loss. Hugs.
Jeni - I remember when I was a 4, ahhh would love to be back there again. Congrats on your continued commitment to being healthy, you are inspiring!
Tomorrow's WEED:
W - 64+
E - be as active as I can throughout the day
E - 24-29 points (giving WW another shot)
D - focus on the now, not the future or the past
Was a little off plan over the weekend. I think it's probably the first time since I started this journey (February 25) that I went way off plan (over my calories) - but it was somewhat planned and somewhat unavoidable so it's ok. I'm still down for the week, just not as much as I might have been otherwise. I went to a funeral yesterday for a dear family friend and wore the dress I bought myself a couple of weeks ago. I got tons of compliments on how good I look. The two men whose mother passed away coached my kids in wrestling and kind of helped raise my kids (surrogate dads so to speak). They both complimented my progress, but one of them told me probably four or five times how good I looked. One of their daughters is getting married June 26 and I'm hoping to drop at least 15 more lbs by then.
Week 1: 247.4
Week 2: 241.2
Week 3: 240.5
Week 4: 236.4 (the 220's are in sight)
Week 5: 235.6 TOM
W: At least 48 ounces of water
E: Minimum of 30 minutes 5 days a week
Walk at least 1 mile daily (working up to 2 miles for a 2 mile charity
walk on May 15)
E: Calories within 1600-1800
D: Get my garden box planted - got it built
Went and visited my friend and college roomate who just had a baby on friday. Such a cutie! Everytime I hold a baby (which is a lot recently since all my friends are pregnant) I want another one. My DH and I are at odds about that currently so we'll see. Anyways, it was nice to sit and chat and share in someone elses joy for a while.
Jeni - I'm not familiar with your sister but I wish you the best.
MamaP - congrats on the compliments, it's nice to get outside acknowledgement of all your hard work
Well, off to get the boys - hope everyone has a great day.
W - 64+
E - walk this evening
E - OP
D - read a little tonight, maybe get a few flowers planted
Wow the past 2 weeks have been extremely busy. We have quite a few sick animals at work that need tons of extra attention, plus we now have 3 Mississippi Sandhill Crane Chicks that also need near constant attention. Now apparently the black fly has come to Louisiana and they tend to swarm birds, which can easily kill the bird. So all of our birds need to be handled and sprayed with this special bug spray type stuff. I'm off today and tomorrow so I'm just going to relax and hope everything calms down next week.
As far as weight goes, it's finally going! lol. The only thing different I've been doing is eating smaller portions for dinner. I count my calories for breakfast and lunch and basically try to save half of my calories for dinner. Then I haven't been counting calories at dinner, just trying to eat smaller portions. Seems to be starting to work, so I'm gonna stick with it for a while. I've also been drinking more water now that it's hot outside. I really need to charge my bodybugg so that I can see if I'm burning any extra calories also. I just bought my tickets for my 5 year high school reunion (which is June 12), so that's a BIG motivation for me to stay on plan.
WEED for today
W - 64+ oz
E - off day, but I might try to get in some weights and crunches
E - 1400-1600 cals
D - WASH CLOTHES!
I'm not sure about my workout. I feel like I have a hangover of the worst kind, only no alcohol. Work was very stressfull and I think I forgot to drink my water. I have a pulled muscle in my neck so I wont be doing much running. I'm considering staying home.
Week 1- 178.6
Week2- 175.8 That looks pretty, huh??
Week 3- 181. REALLY??? how can that happen??
Week 4- 179.6 This is crazy.
Week 5- 179.6 It is also TOM.
I am just focusing on running 3.1 miles without stopping. I am trying not to worry about weight so much. Let me focus on this goal for a while.
Mindy~I think thats a great idea. I am focusing on my workouts more than my scale these days too.
Summertime is going to be tough for me to workout. Makenna has swim team practice from 515-600 may 11-june 18, m-w-f then from 925-1020 m thru fri June 21 until the end of august. Tommy has swimming from 530-605 M-Th all summer long. I normally workout 830-930 so I will have to either go early or cut my workouts to 45 minutes. Maybe I will have to start my 5am sessions again.
THe good thing for today is I registerd my baby boy for preschool. I would prefer to have him at our school district preschool, but he is 3rd on the waiting list so I went ahead and registered him for our YMCA preschool. It actually would workout best to have him at the Y because of daycare reasons. I wish I could start him in kindergarten, but he is 5 in october. dang it.
Jeni- Kids have until Dec. 1st to turn 5 in Mich. We teachers feel that is way too late though. We have 4 year olds starting school in Sept. That is really too young. I'm sure he will love pre-school.
