Nella-Congrats on signing up for the 5K! I still need to pick my first race of the season. It's so motivating to have that goal in front of you...best of luck!!

My March Minutes:

3/1: 40 min walk, 6 min PUC
3/2: 34 min run
3/3: 20 min swim (500M), 10 min PUC

PUC = Push-up Challenge

LouisaH 03-04-2010 03:08 AM

3/1: 100 squats (I looked into the 200 squat challenge, and that was my initial test--it nearly killed me--don't know if I'll pursue that or not! I do lots of squats in my regular workouts anyway.)
3/2: 20 min. 30DS
3/3: 40 min. CT

I don't even consider the 100 lunges I do morning and night while brushing my teeth part of my exercise. I've been doing it for about 9 years. Sometimes they're "lazy" ones, sometimes strong, and now that I've been doing so many lunges and squats with my current workouts, I'm mixing them up more, but I always do them, twice a day.

Tummy-Call me the queen of changing goals...I'd like to change my ST goal. Instead of ST'ing 1x/wk, I'm doing the PUC (100 Push-Up Challenge) 3x/wk. Thanks!

Week 1 - 210 mins

March total - 210/1400

LouisaH 03-05-2010 07:28 PM

3/1: 100 squats (really, I'm counting this as a day off)
3/2: 20 min. 30DS
3/3: 40 min. CT (Jackie Warner)
3/4: 60 Jackie Warner Circuit Training. I did this after work because I didn't have time in the morning. Somebody give me a medal--I NEVER exercise at night. I only did it because I was sooo hungry and had only 300 calories left in my day! :hungry:
3/5: 50 min. treadmill (walking--I only run to catch frisbees and trains), 15 min. Jackie Warner CT

I did not feel like doing any of my four exercise videos this morning! I have Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, Jackie Warner's two personal trainer videos, and one called Altheatized Vol. 1, Funky Dance Blahblahblah, which is sort of my "I'm tired" video, which is now becoming an "I'm tired of it" video.

Any recommendations? Turbo Jam? P90X? Zumba? helpmelose, what's Vive?

jessicado22 03-06-2010 11:28 AM
