Default W.O.W. Healthy through the Holidays, Week 5 Christmas

Here we go the second leg of the journey.


Week 1: 144
Week 2: 141
Week 3: 143
Week 4: 140

I hope eveyone survived this weekend without too much trouble. I was surprised to see the scale up so high. I know it is my pattern, I have a tough time on saturdays and sundays with my eating. I didn't meet any of my weed yesterday, not even my water or exercise. I started feeling crummy and crampy at about 1100 yesterday, and the gym opens at 1200 on sundays.

I will get in my weed today!

W 100 oz
E 45 cardio 20 weights
E 1200 cals
D Positive thinking, I can make it through christmas!

I am back and boy do I need to be.

Last child left today and I need to get back on track.

Week 1: 167
Week 2: 160.5
Week 3: 156.5
Week 4: 156.5
Week 5: 157.5

WEED today-

W - 64 oz.
E - make time for some sort of cardio
E - 1200-1300 calories
D - put away some stuff so I can start decorating

Well the weigh in today didn't go nearly as I hoped it would. I'm back up to 176, which means I gained nearly 4 lbs I'm hoping it's mainly water weight it will come off fast.

Week 1: 177
Week 2: 175
Week 3: 175
Week 4: 172.2
Week 5: 176

Goals for today:
W - 80 oz (done!!)
E - hopefully 20-25 min mild cardio (didn't get to this because of the psych paper)
E - 1200-1400 calories (Right at 1400, give or take a little)
D - get at least 2 sections done on my paper (exactly 2 done and still going!)

Back from my workout I am feeling great!! Back on track and ready to beat back the fat! I put my booty in gear today, no interval training though, I just ran straight 6mph for 20 minutes. Then I started to cool down I got in 3 miles in 31 minutes before I was asked if I was done. (I was going over my 30 minute time limit). I just said oops yes. The gal was sweet when she asked me. (then I had a woman stare at me while I was on a machine, she irritated me, I realize she was waiting for the machine but man.) I think I am going to go back at 430 and do some elliptical work and maybe a bit more running. Maybe 2 more miles.

Hi Girls....
Weekend was ok sorta. The TSO concert was unbelievable...i posted pix on FB for all to see. I did manage a workout in trying to find the car after the show. Froze my butt off walking for 20 minutes trying to find it. I didn't feel anything til yesterday. Today i'm still a bit sore, i think most of it is just stress and nerves and lack of sleep.

DH is going to be leaving for probably a week or so tomorrow. I'm lowering my carbs starting tomorrow. Gotta be able to wear clothes again *sighs* I'll fight for walking time too. tonight I've gotta get to bed early though, i couldn't sleep last night at all. Needless to say I'm exhausted

Okay!! You see my problem. I have been doing this for months now. I flux from 178ish to 181ish but not making any progress. I eat around 1300-1400 calories a day. I workout 30-45 min. a day doing a variety of things. What gives?? What does anyone suggest. Eat less. eat more?? Workout more?? What???

Mindy, my best advice would be to start increasing your exercise time. Or try to increase your intensity and keep the same time. Check what you are eating, maybe you need to decrease sodium or carbs.

Amy~Hey honey! I'm glad you found your car after the concert! I can never find my car just going to the grocery store.

I'm not getting in a second workout today my daughter is in such a BAD mood. I don't understand her.

Mindy - my body is the same way, takes some serious strict eating and effort to get the scale to budge, one little slip up and it happily migrates back to where I started. I really have to get hardcore about dieting to lose (easier said than done!). Just keep at it, maybe change up calorie counting for WW or SB - something to reenergize and motivate?

Holyteror - glad you had a great time at the concert!

zoo - I'm sure it's just water weight, should fall off soon...

popcorn - you've managed to maintain a 10 pound loss in 5 weeks, pretty awesome if you ask me!

Jeni - great job with the workouts, I hope one day to have your energy

My little boy turned 3 today! I can't believe how time has flown! DH left for San Fran tonight, coming home friday on the red eye because we're going to a concert in NYC that night. Flys back Sunday then won't be back until the 18th of Dec. Fortunately my mom is coming to stay for 1.5 weeks which will be a great help, cuts the stress down a little

W - 64+ oz (done!)
E - other than running around at work none today
E - not good today, stress eating!
D - try and get some things done around the house even thought I feel like parking it on the couch for the rest of the night

okay so i weighed in this morning and im 247 ,,,,,huh ive noticed i do good in the begining of the month then by the end its pretty much down hill from there. im shooting for 234 this month.
i woke up early to exercise on my wii fit and i love it burned 200 calz gonna do it again . i just wanted to say you all should get one it makes working out fun . but hey i still sweat and it keeps track of your bmi .. i love it...

e 1200

Hi Ladies!
I'll be using my leftover turkey to make some healthy soup. And some turkey salad. with DH out of the way for a week i can really focus. Right now my back is a little sore, mainly from sitting in the floor. I am gonna do my Bean workout and stretch out my back some. it will really help. I also plan on getting to bed no later than 10:30. I was thinking of heading to the fabric store to see what shiny holiday fabric is on sale. I'm gonna do a "trunk" show where I package up goodies and load them up in the trunk of my car I figure the fabric to lay out will be good....i'll make some cocoa or hot tea and have that for after work or during lunch hours

Stomach's kinda goofy today. Not sure why, but hopefully it's just something I ate

Emily, I'm glad that you are getting some help while your DH is away. Time really does fly when you are watching your kids grow.

Tiara~ I like my wii fit also. my big problem with using it: my children want to take their turn. Its not really worth the fight.

Amy~this week will be good for you to take care of yourself. recommit to finding your motivation.

Wow, if my scale keeps climbing i'm really going to freak. Today will be easy because I work, so food will be great.

D positive thinking. really I can maintain through the holidays. Just because it is december doesnt mean I get to consume more food than I need.

You know girls, I don't think the stomach thing was something I ate. It got worse last night, and then finally chilled out. This morning...here we go again! Today will be a challenge if i can manage to keep everything in the system...

Hey girls!!!!

I WON THE FREE BOOTCAMP FOUND OUT LAST NIGHT!

My weight started this week at 198+. Decided to skip a real weigh in since life was hectic and turkey day dishes were HEAVY on the cheese! With people off at work I have been running three desks and boot camp just started last night so I havent been here but I will get back by Thursday and catch up!!!! please keep up the motivation girls!!
