Morning girls---wow, ok...first:
Neesy---wow...wow...wow! You look absolutely gorgeous, such a great outfit! I wish you had a camcorder with you so that you can post his reaction when he sees you because seriously, his mouth is going to drop to the ground. I seriously cant say it enough, you look sooooo pretty! Oh and can I add, yes...you have lost a lot of weight, but you dont even look like your in the 180's (this is a compliment...I swear, lol), you look like your around 150 or so---amazing. Oh and I personally would go with panty hose for 3 reasons...you can look tanner, it will keep your legs warm and it sucks you in, lol. Stacie---I like the color, the blunt bangs definately take some getting used to. It does not look bad though, thats for sure. can you just side sweep your bangs? It would be much off from what it was before, right? Anyway, your beautiful no matter what hair cut you have but I understand how you feel. Sorry to hear about you pocketbook having a hole in it, lol...thats the term I use when I blow a lot of money. Your right, we do have a lot of viewers, which is kinda funny when I think of some of the things we've posted on here. I mean seriously...Ive posted everything about my dating life, to work life...to uh, well Mr. 16---thats a whole other story, lol. Oh well, just consider these people admirers, lol. Oh and the pics, yeah I have some, Im waiting to post my pics until the challenge is over on November 1st---heehee. :) AJ- good job girl. Take baby steps. Ok, no cheating but no exercise, now, lets make today a light exercise day, then Tuesday a rest day, then Wednesday a heavy exercise day...you can do it and we are here to help. :) Burgundy - sorry to hear your not feeling well, hopefully its just a one day thing? When I get sick it works two ways...if I have just a cold, I ravage everything, there is no such thing as a diet but when I get the flu, I have no appetite at all and usually lost a serious amount of weight during that time. Hmmm...lets see, what else to report on. Oh---so it was 50 this morning! Brrrrr.....I couldnt leave my bed to get to the gym, I dont know how some of you girls do it. I miss the cold but now that I exercise, I cant imagine trying to get up everyday in this weather. Anyway, I skipped the gym because of it, but then I attempted to jog around 7 am, OMG-- Im such a panzy! I was freezing, lol. On a positive note, I was able to pull off my knee high boots and a suit today, its rare that we can wear boots in fl without looking completely nuts, lol. I also decided on my Halloween costume, which I will post pics of that. I went with "naughty" snow white, lol. Its sooooo cute. Little shorter than I would like but oh well. Food wise, doing ok, Im pretty much maintaining these days with food. Not changing my eating habits too much, just trying to push harder with my exercise if I want to see weight loss. I like the fact that Im past the measuring and looking everything up all the time, now I know what is right and what isnt and if I indulge, how to counter balance it, so Im a happy camper. Hope Dance is doing good on her family function? |
Staccie-that stinks you had to spend so much this weekend. Maybe your week will go smoother than you think and you can have a nice relaxing vaca.
AJ-thanks for wishing it off, so far I only have a cough and I feel fine. My wonderful hubby got me some cough medicine and some soup. You are doing good food wise, now you have to get to that gym, you can do it. Lindy-be glad you arent in MI, it is so cold here already. We barely had a summer here and now its cold, bbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! I really hope I keep feeling well and the medicine works to get rid of this cough. Gonna wait until later to do day 28, dont want to start coughing during my workout. I will do it!!! Then 2 more days. Trying to rest today, have to do some laundry at some point. I'll be back later. |
Burgundy - you can DO IT!!! lol, Wow, I cannot believe it, I know I keep saying that but it takes sooooo much dedication, your my inspiration to try this again, starting today. I need everyones help though in holding me accountable, no "poor Lindy, your having a rough day, you'll get back on track tomorrow", nope..I want you guys to push me hard, thats where I love you all, lol.
Oh-so I finally had time to rewind and check out everyones photos, holy crapola! Im scared! lol, I dont think Im going to win the challenge but thats ok, I look forward to contributing to the lucky winner because you girls look absolutely amazing, Im so proud of all of you. I really hope it works out where we can schedule a get together after the new year. So, what is everyones thoughts on this? I mean...did you guys want to shoot for a short cruise? A beach weekend here in FL? I hike in the mountains up north? Is everyone still keeping this on your radar? |
Rayne- You are doing great! I am so impressed by you and your battle. You can push through this and hopefully finish your 30 day shred!!! No matter what I hope you rebound quickly. I am doing laundry with you today. =)
Lindy- Girl.... you have done fantastic! I still think you have a chance to win. Your #'s are good. And I know you have seen great results. I completely want to get together. I don't care where or what but I am in. I can't wait! If all of us were closer I know that we would be the very best of friends. AND I think we are the only group that speaks openly about the real life struggles and people should join us! New day. Food is going well. I am feeling very motivated still but I need to get to the gym today. NO EXCUSES. Its 1 floor below me. I can't use that as an excuse. =) Have a great day lovlies! |
Hi ladies,
This has been open on my browser for quite some time and I am finally getting to it - I wish work didn't interfere with my day :nono: what a pain lol. Well as usual I didn't sleep worth an arse last night :hyper: because I slept in Saturday and Sunday until 11AM (right AJ?) and so therefore going to the gym this morning was NOT an option. I have a PUMP class and then going to do some weights after. I should never plan to work out on Monday mornings! Well the hair is a little better today, it needs to grow an inch before I can really sidesweep it - everyone says I look young so I guess that is ok. But because I have curly hair, the humidity here makes it go even shorter so I look twelve (with a few crowsfeet, lol) - kind of like Benjamin Button!!! :yikes: Lindy - 50!!! Oh my - what I wouldn't give for that temp - but heh it's Canada and not Florida so I guess that is cold. I remember how cold the desert used to get at night...:snowglo: that is awesome about maintaining and just knowing and not having to go through all this bullpoop as much anymore. I can't wait to see your costume! I can't wait until I can wear something like that for Halloween instead of going like a ghost or pumpkin, lol. I can't wait to see your pictures...... Rayne - are you hanging in there....hopefully getting better and fighting it off :club: AJ - you better have gone to the gym girl....or I am going to sick some scorp's on you.... Well I better get back to work, I start to peeter out right about now and I can't procrastinate anymore this week - I am in fear of losing my reputation as the perfectionist!!! GOD FORBID!!!! Howdy, girls! I'm back and am not going anywhere else for weeks! *happy dance* Am just catching up now on all of the activity this weekend. Had a good trip and saw lots of relatives (and did pretty well with eating and running) but am thrilled to be back home. Hope everyone's doing well!!

Okay - gradually catching up...
Lindy - you've lost so much weight since the beginning of our challenge - wowza! That's wildly impressive! I'm moving at such a snail's pace -and all these trips have me a bit stalled. I'm going to try to kick it into a higher gear the rest of this week. I'm kind of bummed that it looks unlikely that I'll make my 11/1 goal of 160 - that would mean 5lbs in two weeks and with the whole snail's pace thing lately, I don't see that happening. I'm going to give it my best shot though. neesy - what did you decide on your hose/no hose decision? love the dress and you look fantastic!!! burgundy - you rock for being such a 30ds superstar!! staccie - are you getting used to your new hairdo? I think the new bangs bring a lot of focus to your eyes which are gorgeous. |
Staccie- HAhahaha! Scorps. I did go to the gym and I feel great. Its 102 outside so I am not leaving the house again today. Ick.
Dance- Welcome home lady!! I hope your family was well. I know how it feels to get out of sync and then how good it feels to settle down. =) Went to the gym. Cooking dinner & doing laundry. Thats is all <3 |

AJ-thanks for all your support. I am still doing my laundry, just started it a little while ago. Rested most of the day. Staccie-what is a PUMP class? Still just a cough and backache, feel ok other than that. Dance-glad you are back and you had a good trip. Dont be bummed at not getting to 160, look at your results, you are a superstar too!!! Ok did day 28, had to tweak it a little because of my back, in the last circuit instead of doing the cardio(its all jumping) I did abs for the 2 minutes. Dont want to make my back worse, I have one of those patches on it now and seems to be helping a little. Nothing fun going on here, gotta go put some clothes in the dryer. Have a wonderful night |
Hey girls! Thank you so much. I can't wait to see him.. and his reaction. The last time I was in a dress.. was our wedding day. So.. it should be a shocker hopefully. I think I'm just gonna go with stockings. I was gonna do the versaspa or mystic spray tan.. but then I'm just afraid of the outcome.. so close to the event. I will try it another time. It's gonna be 60-70s.. so thats warm to us up here. haha. Oh.. and I'm leaving saturday to st.petersburg, florida to see my sister. I'll be in ur guy's neck of the woods.. haha. I can't wait for that too. I haven't seen her since last february. I can't wait to see her reaction as well. It's gonna be a fun week. Only one more working day! I leave wednesday for all the madness. I'll try and check in.

Neesy sounds like you are gonna be having a lot of fun. It is pretty close to the time to see him to worry about a spray tanning going wrong so the hose are probably a good idea. Your sister is going to be amazed too. Have lots of fun.

Neesy - we're all so excited for you to see your hubby and the trip to visit your sis sounds great. How fun to head to FL feeling so slim too - the whole travel thing is way more fun when you're feeling better about how you look, don't you think? AJ - are you settling in to AZ some? To answer your earlier question, I run along 7th then over to Cheeseman park which at least is pretty well lit at night although I don't run in the dark on purpose - just misjudged it that one time. I could use some eating plan inspiration and you are doing so well sticking to plan. Would you mind posting your food choices for a sample day to give me an idea of what you're doing? burgundy - sorry about your back - do hot baths make it feel better at all? That's basically my cure for anything that hurts. Just got back from a walk in the park with my buddies, carrying my friend's little baby in a snugli - so fun when they're that little and just conk out. Am going to have some homemade soup for dinner and maybe take a bath. Yep, that's me - wild 'n' crazy central! |
Dance- Hahaha. Wild n' crazy all around! All of us man... we are one crazy group of gals livin' on the edge!! =) I love children @ that age too.
Here is what I had today: High protein oatmeal for breakfast with an apple 1/4 cup cottage cheese with a salad for lunch 1/2 bell pepper after workout w/ a few almonds protein bar w/ 15g protein rotisserie chicken with bell peppers and yellow squash and I always do 2 slices of 45 calorie bread with rasberries before bed so my tummy doesn't growl through the night Also I drink 3 33 oz bottles with water and fruit punch crystal light I love love love safeways rotisserie chicken because I don't have to cook and with out the skin it is a really healthy alternative to other things. I also really like eggs with salsa in the morning if I struggle getting all of my protein I will eat them any time. =) Was this what you were looking for? |

Howdy ladies...
Well it's 10PM and it's been a very full day for me. The next three days are crazy...I'm working late at the office tomorrow night but I am up at 5AM to get in a good workout to start my day out right :) My class tonight - PUMP was ok - the instructor was not as good as the one last time and it's basically weight lifting to music, lighter weights with way more reps. Gave me a good sweat and packed a lot in 45 min. Tomorrow I have a workout and then SPIN, unfortunately I have to skip YOGA because there is not enough hours in the day to get all my work done and I have to get caught up. If I do really well I might make it though - we will see! I did ok for eating today - I had a shake and banana for breakfast, chicken, rice and tomatoes for lunch, a apple bar for snack, a piece of whole wheat toast and shake before the gym and after I had some scrambled eggs, tomatoes and strawberries. Same thing tomorrow - I am so boring. I did have a few sugar free chocolate almonds but I kept it below 10 so that was good. I am making better choices but refuse to go without some type of chocolate everyday :) Dance - woo hoo you are back! You can do 5 pounds by October 31st, AJ and I are on the race and you are welcome to join in...if you really kick it up after a bit of a stall I betcha you can!!! I'm impressed that you have done well on your trips though. I really have to make sure I stay on track when I go on mine. For the most part, other than about 5 days I will be close to a computer so I will log on on here whenever I can. My sister is an amazing cook and I am fearful that I am going to eat too much, but I will just have to eat smaller portions!!! And still workout like a maniac! Thanks for the comment about my bangs, once I can sidesweep them a bit I think I will feel more comfortable. Tonight I went to lululemon (which is a very expensive but amazing yoga store) to buy a new gymbag and the lady said she loved my hair so that was kind of nice. And...I tried on a new tank top and my waist is getting so tiny...unfortunately my arse isn't moving as quickly and the tinier my waist gets the more large my arse looks! But I am ok with that, as look as it gets a bit smaller soon!! I am still working a lot on my upper body and trying to tone it down a bit before I ever wear a tank top to the gym. Rayne - good on you for getting through your workout - what did you do to your back - did you pull a muscle? AJ - scorps lol - I used to call them that when I visited my mom and I called spiders spids - I saw a big hairy one once in the backyard and it was not cool. They move so quick! I used to be petrified of spiders. One day I decided to get over my fear and I held one at a petshow - his name was Hairy. Well it ran up my arm and I did pee my pants (just a little though). Then I held it again and stared it down and I am no longer scared of them. I don't like them but I don't use a whole can of raid on them until they explode anymore. They have this spiders in Vancouver called Wolf Spiders and they are huge and can jump up to 10 feet. I have not seen one and I think if I did I would probably pee my pants again! Do you see scorps there? I almost got bitten by one. I picked up a dead cricket to throw at my mom (long story) and just as I was going to pick it up a scorp came around and grabbed it. Another night I found a half dead one in my bed. Creatures of the night there...sorry if I gave anyone nightmares...I am babbling like crazy tonight! Neesy - congrats on the dress and everything you are doing, you are going to look so amazing!!!! And I hope you have a few days umm planned to welcome your husband home with your smoking new bod! Well I better quit yapping and go to bed. 5AM comes early.... S |
