Just For Today Challenge, July 20
Have you been struggling to get on program, no matter which program you are trying to do? Why not sign in here just for today, and come back and show us how you did. Sign up with any goals you want to.
I have been struggling, some days eating as much as 60 points. I found last week when I started this challenge, that even though I still overate, I did much better, knowing I was going to be reporting it here. Join me if you like. I will probably start this challenge daily for a while. If anyone beats me on here in the mornings, and it hasn't been started, feel free to start it. Believe me, I will follow this challenge no matter who starts it. This has become a wonderful supportive group! |
Today, I want to:
~ drink at least 8 glasses of plain water ~ get 10,000 steps or more ~ do the back exercises that my chiropractor wants me to do that I always blow off! This is a nice thread idea! |
I'm not sure what to do for today's challenge.
I'm getting ready to take my son down to visit my mom for five days. Let's just make it no caffeine for today... and no unhealthy snacks during the drive there. Thanks again for the thread! |
Hello everybody,
Paradoxx, and Paula - great goals. My plan, Stay on plan Drink more than 2 liters of water Eat no crackers Walk the dog Remember that I am practicing Thanks JazzyPeggy for the thread. It's keeping me going. Ash |
Good Morning,
Today I am going to try for 2000 calories. Should be doable. I have no plans for eating out and no bad sweets in the house to tempt me except the last glass of reisling in that bottle of wine I bought on Saturday. So that is my second goal, no alcohol. Congrats to all you goal-getters yesterday! WooHoo! Oh by the way-I am definitely down a pound and a half from last week :). |

Hi everyone. I love all your goals, even the one about making the appointment, I so understand.
Terapet, great job on the weight loss! My goals Just For Today 40 oz water minimum Exercise 10 minutes 3 times (read this is good for you and will speed your metablism) 45 points maximum (this is over my range, but I'm trying to take control with baby steps. I will measure and look up every point in my WW books) |
Good for you Peggy. That weighing and writing down will really clarify things for you. How many times last week did I express my suprise on the number of calories were actually involved in what I ate. It's kind of sad for me though to know it is not possible to eat what I want. On the bright side, losing weight and being healthy is worth more in the end. Hopefully today I am really going to stick to my plan!!!!!!!! I promise myself I will be good at lunch. I have to save some calories for dinner because we are grilling steak tonight.

Hi,
Can I join in please? I'm calorie counting, but finding it hard to get motivated even with 2 family weddings this year. I need to take it a day at a time otherwise the enormity of the amount of weight I need to lose overwhelms me and I give in.:(. Nicki |
