Assorted Chocolates Challenge Week 3

This week's challenge is all about FOOD! We love it but we hate it! It can be our best friend or our enemy! Food keeps us alive we need it to function but we dont need massive amounts of it as if we are going to hibernate at some point !


this week i challenge all you chickies to do the following things everyday!
*eat at least 5 servings of fruit/veggies
*drink at least eight 8oz. glasses of water
*take a multivitamin
* limit processed foods (shop the perimeter of the grocery store)
Also, try a new healthy recipe this week and share it with us whether you like it or not!

i know i have been struggling with my diet and it seems that some of you ladies have as well. i didnt want to ask too much of everyone just enough to get us back to healthy eating and the scale sliding down!


dont forget that the tagging game is still going strong and when u get tagged just go ahead and immediately tag the next 2-3 people so we can all get pumping!

I like this weeks challenge because thats what Im working on most my diet. Hopefully I get on track Im still struggling a little. Sometime I tend to over eat ugh...........I have to pray for myself.

hi ladies!

thanks so much b for keeping us on track. i am tagging cocochanel and sweetshauna = )

i had a few slip ups with food last week but i'm staying focused on pushing forward. i was listening to the podcasts by jillian michaels from biggest loser and they have been a big motivation - i highly recommend them they are online through KFI radio. i have been trying to push myself past my comfort zone in my workouts..trying to take it to the next level and i think that has kept me trying to stay on plan with food.

you can do it ladies!!!

So today I did try a new recipe. I did these black bean and corn quesadillas. They were really good. Even though I ate 2 tortillas it wasn't too bad since I used low fat cheese and no butter. I didn't get the whole wheat tortillas. I'm too broke for that right now. I'm trying to eat less meat and more veggies, beans, and whole grains. I haven't exercised in the past three weeks, but I am doing a lot more walking. I need to get it together. My plan was to be under 200 by by 25th b-day (August 23), but I know I won't make that goal . I'm kinda sad about that, but I need to pull it together and work myself harder.

Yes I know I'm not doing good at all... I a really struggling with my food intake. I can stick to my diet when I am at home and nothing stressful is going on, but throw in some stress and being knocked out of my routine and it all goes haywire.

This weekend I went to visit my brother and aunt, and I ate so so much crap it was ridiculous. I had actually gotten down to 150.2, and then went home and ate waffles with syrup, breaded chicken cutlets on white bread, some ultra-sweet danishes, a bunch of cookies, chicken wings & french fries, and lots more.

Four weeks left for this challenge. Can I do 20lbs in four weeks (5lbs/week)? I sure are **** am going to give it a shot!

I got in 30 minutes of walking. I'm tagging BRIE and CAKE.

I jouned the pedometer challenge at work today. It goes through the end of October. And we'll have an hour walking group on Thursdays. I need to hook my Wii back up too. I need to do something this evening.

Way to go on the working out ladies!!! What ya'll having for dinner?

Hey again! Just wanted to share this YouTube video with ya'll: Confessions of an Ex-Fat Girl. She lost about 80lbs and I think it's a good inspirational vid for our group.

I know we've all been slacking, but let's do this and support each other! I have a goal, and I know I get off track but I WILL reach it. The person I was isn't who I want to be. shauna - way to go girl! yr back in full effect i see!

caliyah - i love jillian's podcasts. i learn soo much. i used to listen to them every sunday while i cleaned and cooked and it helped my week go smoother. maybe i will start listening again

umm my eating is better today. it hasnt been stellar. i am going out of town in the morning so thats an issue as well. i am going to try to make sure i make the best choices possible and i am bringing my workout gear.

Okay so I got two tags to work off plus about a kazillion calories of food ( well not that bad just kidding). I have the right food and the right attitude today and my only goal is eat POP and make it to the gym today. Yes that is one goal bcause it goes hand in hand! I still haven't figured out why I am not so focused but I need to get it together!!!!

Hey I worked off my last two tags last night. Hallelujah I did pretty good on food yesterday and I made it to the gym. Actually I did go over a few pts but hehe I needed salad dressing on my salad. So I can not complain one bit about yesterday I reached my goal.

i'm going to work on my tags. great to see everyone is getting in that exercise too. i've been feeling so blah for the past two days i haven't been doing well with eating and have gone up to 202 = ( but i'm sticking through this and making today and everyday afterward a good day.
