July Weight Loss Challenge
 
Hi girlssssssssss. Here is our new thread for our July challenge beginning this Wednesday. I hope to see you all here as well as any newcomers that would like to join us :).

Hope you all had a great weekend girls. I look forward to our new month together and I want to say thanks to all of you for the wonderful support and helping to keep me in line during these summer months. It really has been such a pleasure in getting to know you all and together through the sharing process........trial, tribulations, laughs, etc....we have had a lot of fun together and hope we continue on our journey together. :hug:

A big congratulationssss to all of you on weight loss thus far :cheer::cheer::cheer3::cheer3::cheer2::cheer2: , for maintenance or just keeping at it and for the continued fight and progress towards a healthier us!

You know the drill girls! Just state your goal, whether it be a loss in pounds, inches, size, or even an intangible feeling! THe sky is the limit! You need not state your weight if you feel uncomfortable......just your goal, even if that goal is to maintain or whatever the case may be.

Our primary purpose in this thread has always been to support one another despite goal variations, etc. etc. and I look forward to our new month together. It is a fresh start for us all and a great time to renew and/or reinstate our own personal goals and plans.

My goal for t his month is, at the moment, to get back on track OP in a consistent fashion and to lose between 6-7 lbs. I also hope to be able to add swimming this month once we get into a normal weather pattern.

Here is to a great month to us all :)

I'm going to try to lose 8-10 lbs this month! I'm going to really cut out junk food and exercise every morning.

I have to lose 20 lbs (down to like 190) by September 22nd for my doctor's appointment but I'd like to lose about 25-30.

For July I will:
-Keep track of my water intake
- Get into the 160's
- Stay accountable during the weekends

OK if I join in? I'm going for 8-10 pounds - 8 might be more realistic, but 10 would put me back at my pre-Christmas weight.

Hi Ladies!! I've lost 5 lbs in June so far and 9 lbs in each of the previous couple of months, so I think I'm going to go for 7-10 lbs this month instead of the 10 lbs that I always do! :yes:

Well shucky darn and slop the chickens is it time for July Goals already? Yeehaw let's get'erdone!! :D

My goals are as follows:

*Lose at least 5 lbs
*Eat even MORE fruits and veggies!!
*Try out a new recipe every week (didn't come near making this goal for June--only got two new recipes under my belt)
*Stay POP at least 85% of the time (going to be on vacation next week in TX and my stepmom is a fantastic cook! Going to need major will power dust girls!)


I think that's enough for this month. :D

I look forward to another wonderful month with you ladies!!! :)

Hello everyon, I would love to join your group it that is ok. I am new here and I would love to have a monthly goal and some help along the way. I would like to have my goal for July 8-10 lbs. I really want to be under 200 lbs by my birthday in September do you think that is possible? My birthday is Sept 7.

Hi Mystical, :welcome3: to our team and :wel3fc: Given your current stats and all and just starting out.......I do beleive it is possible, go for it ;). For some of us, weekends are the hardest or parties or whatever the case may be....others are able to whisk right through. I always say, when you find that smooth road stay there! Thanks to our wonderful team here, they have helped me find my way back to that smooth road on countless occassion and though this journey may have some bumpy courses along the way......we cannot go wrong with each others support and help. The neat thing is is that we help each other out along the rough spots and encourage each other along our journey. It really is a super group of ladies and I am glad you found us, welcome aboard :).

Thanks so much. Today wasn't so good. I felt very tired but I did eat clean I just didn't do any workouts I am hoping to start my day out with cardio tomorrow though.

Mystical, I felt like that too today.......very lethargic! (been like that recently and its getting to me). I did do a lot of chores around the house but stillllll...how I hate that feeling. wtg on eating clean. Sometimes it takes time.......and I honestly think that just making a certain mindset and saying "okay, I'm doing it" is soooooooo a step in t he right direction.......even if not doing things 100 percent of the way we want from that very first day. Tomorrow is a new day. Congrats on a start today :) . I need to get back to my exercise schedule too..... clean eating is a great way to go so congrats on that.......have a good night :).

ohhhhhhhhhhh I lost my post! Mystical....wtg on the clean eating today, I think that is a great start. I felt lethargic today too! I think you had a good start and tomorrow is a new day :) We can't always do everything perfectly from day one or berate ourselves for not doing so......I always try to focus on my progess and accomplishments versus what I did not do and just strive to make progess ........always working on that :). FSA and Jacqui~ I need that constant reminder for the 64ozs. of Vodka (oops, I mean water) SO I figure if I put it as a goal and then have you guys (especially that CMO4) constantly nagging at me to drink it >>> I might be more successful. I'm excited for the new month. I know I say it every challenge we do, but I love the "clean slate" feeling.
