Morning ladies. Just a quick hit to say hi, I will post more later. I woke up with an excrutiating headache and think I may go to the doctor to rule out a sinus infection. I will post more in the afternoon.
EDITING: Thought maybe a good workout would help. I was fine during my workout, but my headache is back. I am going to take it easy the rest of the day. I am going to call and schedule an appt with my doctor tomorrow. As far as weed goes: W 64 oz E 60 minutes cardio done E 1400 cals D rest |

Still on plan!!! Although I ate a late breakfast this morning and met a friend at McDonalds so our kids could all play (it was rainy today) and I planned on just drinking my water and a cuppa coffee. Then the kids wanted to eat so I decided to pick at a grilled chicken salad (I even packed my own dressing!!) and I wasn't that hungry but I ate anyways and now I feel STUFFED. Weird how I could normally just eat like 2 double cheeseburgers, fries, etc etc etc. but I can barely finish a cup of Fiber One with skim milk, a peach and a chicken salad???? So odd. But I'm glad. OOOOOOHHHHHH Size 12 jeans!!!! :carrot: So awesome!!!! (****, 18s would be okay by me at this point! LOL, am squeezing into of my 22s, need to get back into my 20s) I hope the headache feels better Jeni, I try Mucinex when my sinuses act up. And like I said above, it is RAINY around here so we're all sniffly. Then I find out that Mucinex is on my list of no-no OTC medicenes to take when in the IMPACT program, apparently contains an addictive substance (dexmethorphine, sp?). We can't take things like Benadryl, etc. Said they might trigger a relapse. Listerine and liquid vitamins are on the list too because they contain alcohol. Interesting. Let us know what the doc says! Oh and LOLOLOL I suck at Broadway musicals, I still don't know the show. But the clues pretty much gave it away, I just don't know them. But clever! Oh and my motivation today is 7. I do feel like eating right but am a little sluggish from overeating, see above. I'll feel better when my belly settles down and I get some housework = activity done. Love to all!!! xoxxoo Michelle |
Motivation is at about an 8. Got up early to exercise, drank water, ate clean. TOM is here so I expect the scale to climb but I'm not craving the bad carbs. Maybe there is something to me being a carbaholic. Interesting.
MTIG- forgot to send hugs to you last night. What a great victory; size 12!!! Jeni- Hope the sinuses aren't too bad. E32- Welcome back! Nursie- Great way to handle Mcdonald's. I totally would have caved and had a McChicken. Plan for tomorrow is the same as today. Up before work to exercise, eat clean(er), and drink water. |
I gave in to the pain. I went to the doctor today. He sent me in for a sinus x-ray. He told me that
1. it doesnt sound like a migraine (I knew that, I get migraines) 2. it doesn't sound like a stess headache 3. It doesn't sound like a pinched nerve 4. he isn't sure what it is. 5. IF i don't have a sinus infection he is going to send me back to the neurologist (even though the neurologist said that it was not a neurological problem when I saw him in december) He gave me something for the pain since the normal stuff isn't working. I have definately gone overboard with calories since I have been seeking comfort foods. :( |
okay I am such a dork. I've noticed I posted weight as 195 on all my threads. I am actually in the 185 range. I can't seem to get that in my head. I was stuck in the 190's so long, it feels like I am still there. Mind games!!!
Went to lunch with a friend today at Houlihan'. We split chicken chipolte nachos. Just looked them up and they are 2200 calories. OMG!!! I am so glad I only ate about 1/4 of the order. I don't even get how that can be possible. Jeni- Sorry you feel bad. I hope it goes away quickly. Michelle and Grazer- I give in to the Mcchicken occassionally. They are like 340 calories? It won't kill you once in a while. |
Morning ladies. Headache is lingering but I am still heading to workout. Yesterday was a bust calorie wise and the scale is showing it. (altough I know I did not consume enout to gain 3 pounds) but I will be better today, I have a lot of stuff to do.
The headache better go away. |
just got back from my workout. I really don't want to go do the shopping that I need to do.
W 64 oz E 60 minutes done (30 tread, 20 elliptical, 10 row machine) E 1200 planned clean calories D get stuff done that I have been neglecting. Buy summer clothes for the kids. Get in some strength training and abs. |
JCat- I can relate to the need for comfort food. One day isn't so bad. At least you balanced it with exercise!
MTig- If only I could be a "dork" and have 10 pounds gone in a keystroke! Either way you rock!!! TOM is not too bad this month. Today I really want to eat and eat. I've been managing healthy snacking but I'm strugglin. No exercise today because I am zonked- oldest son up a lot last night which meant little sleep from 2:30 a.m onward. Gotta get back on track tomorrow. |

Mindy Yay for being 185! Grazer, I hate nights like that. DH and I usually will take turns getting up with the kids. Another workday week is about to start. I would like to report that I worked out 8 out of 8 of my last days off! It feels good to be back in the routine. W 64 oz E short session of abs and weights E 1200 cals D get throught the workweek. My head is still killing me and no sinus infection. So I don't know whats next. |
JCat- great job on getting the workouts in.
i'm happy to report that I didn't gain or lose this week. That is major for me considering I always gain at TOM because I am always eating junk! Ah, change that. I actually gained 1.4. geez, I should check my ticker before I post! anyways, it was only 1.4 and not the usual 5! |
I thought I had posted yesterday. Whoops!! Well I spent several hours yesterday cleaning my horses stall. Shoveling and hauling poop....not fun. today my arms are like dead weight dangling from my body. Bad news....I have to do more today. Hey, who needs biceps curls and dead lifts?
I was 185.4 today. I like that number. Of course I always want lower though. Probably have to wait until after TOM begining of July. Let's see how the mid-cycle thing goes. Grazer- Congrats on the little gain vs. the 5 pounder. I hear ya. Jeni- Glad you are back in the game. Where is everybody else??? |
Mindy, I don't envy that chore. EWW I cant even clean the litter box.
Grazer, Glad that it wasn't the normal 5! Headache is still here. Dang it, I should have taken the weekend off, but th kids would probably drive me nuts. Foods good, waters good, I even did a bit of a strength/ab workout (not the greatest though) More in the morning. |

I'm still here... world is crazy. 203.2 this morning. Been eating like a mad woman... surprised the damage hast been worse. Gotta snap out of it though. Haven't read the thread... just need to catch up at home and I'll be better!

Bad eating weekend. Weather is hot so I'm sipping on beer and eating lots of bad snacks. Balanced it with a walk this morning and golf this p.m. We chose to walk the golf course rather than get a cart. It was my first time golfing and lots of fun!
