5 Day Challenge #2
 
Since we did great on 5 day challenge#1. It is time for #2
June15-June19

1.50 oz water/day
2.Exercise {10 min./day}
3.1300 calories/day


Anyone else up for a challenge?

This sounds GREAT! I would love to join in. I'm joining in on a biggest loser contest that starts tomorrow so this will go great with that...

For the next five days I will commit to -->

1. water - Drink 40oz a day
2. Food - Eat 1300 calories a day
3. Exercise - Go to Curves for 60 minutes a day (around the circle 4 times)

I'd like to join your 5-day challenge. For the next 5 days I will:

Average 1550-calories a day logged into CalorieKing.
Eat dinner by 7 p.m.
Go to the Gym every day (closed on Sunday)
Go to bed by 10 p.m. so I can sleep 8 hours.

I kinda lost track of the last one, so Ill focus a little more on this one.

Goals:
1. Drink at least 3 liters of water
2. Exercise 6 days a week (so everyday for this challenge)
3. Eat healthy, not late at night

I would love to join this challenge!

Goals -

1 - No eating after 7:30 p.m.
2 - Exercise at least 90 minutes per day (not realistic usually, but this summer I can!)
3 - Weigh every morning
4 - Try a new recipe within the next five days

I got a new digital scale.I am also going to get weighed only on Fridays. Only Once in the morning. Or,I will get obsessed w/the scale again,and blow my whole plan.

This is Ags and I would like to join your challenge.

I will drink 64 oz. of water each day.
I will stay within my points of WW this week.
I will do 10 to 15 min. of exercise each day.
I will not let anyone or anything stress me this week.

So far I'm on track for day 1

1. Water - 20 of 40 ounces so far
2. Calories - On track - 460 of 1300 so far
3. Exercise - DONE!! 60 minutes at Curves this morning!

All I have to do is drink 20 ounces of water for the rest of the day and stay on track with my calories!! Whewww hoo! This is much easier when you just take it a day at a time.

Day #1 is coming to a close. Over all I feel pretty good about everything

Water - 40 of 40 ounces consumed and still drinking ;)
Food - Went a little over my total goal of 1300 calories maybe around 1500 instead
Exercise - I did my 60 minutes at Curvs and just now did another 30 min. at the gym!


Lookin' forward to a big loss this week!!!!

I'm starting the week off at 267.4

I've done well so far today --
Calories 1155. Had some tilapia for dinner, very good.
Went to the gym and walked a mile on the treadmill, then went to water exercise which is why I'm eating later than 7 p.m. (class ends at 6:45).

I do plan to get to bed by 10 p.m. -- I am not sleeping enough and I think going to bed earlier will help.

It is the start of day two for me and so far so good. Day one was great!!!
Will be back the end of the day to list accomplisshments. My goals are remaining the same for the whole week..

Day 2
The good --

Calories - my computer that has CalorieKing loaded on it is busy now, but I know I ate less than 1550.

Gym - had my weight training session today, and also went to a water exercise class.

The not so good --
Bed - plan to go to bed by 10 p.m., but still having problems sleeping.

Finish dinner by 7 p.m. -- this is a tough one for me. I have always eaten dinner late. My water exercise class doesn't end until 6:45 and it's after 7 by the time I get home. I think I may change this goal to finish dinner by 7:45. That's later than I would like. The only other option would be to eat it before going to class at 5:30 and that's a bit early.

Thanks Tracy....and I love diet soda, but it gives me the worst sore throat. I started drinking the stuff about a year ago and drank it like crazy...I kept a sore throat with white puss like pockets on my throat....never could figure out what it was...then about 2 months ago I started having muscle spasms and cramps like crazy in my legs ...I had aspertame (sp?) poisoning...I quit drinking diet drinks and all of it went away and I have so much more energy....sucks though cause I finally had found a way to get my soda fix without using a ton of calories...I'm really trying to "like" water now..


Today's recap....

Water --> :yes: 40 of 40 oz done

Calories --> :no: had a moment at lunch today where I binged a little on the pizza the kids didn't eat......but I didn't let it ruin my day..

Exercise --> :yes: 60 minutes at Curves! :D


Overall I feel pretty good about the week so far :dance: and it seems so many of you are doing well!!! Keep it up...the week will be over before you know it! :carrot:

It is so neat how each day has started on a new page....day 2 on page 2 and day 3 on page 3....LOL...I'm easily amused....

Anyway....

This week is going great. I love the idea of setting just a few small goals for myself and taking everything a day at a time. I really blew it at lunch yesterday, and any other time I have tried to lose weight if I screwed up on my eating I just said to heck with the rest of the day...I just figured why exercise if I screwed lunch up...and why eat healthy for the rest of the day if I screwed on meal up.....then I would just tell myself...I will start tomorrow...but the next day would end up the same way.

Yesterday even though I messed up on my calories at lunch....I still knew I could meet my other two goals of exercise and water consumption....so I didn't give up...I got right back on track and exercised and ate better for the rest of the day AND had my water....and I still lost some weight today! I'm glad I didn't give up!

So.....the moral of the story is just don't give up....if the first two days weren't great...its okay...just forgive and forget! If you mess up later today....so what! Don't let that moment become who you are! It is just a moment in the big picture!

That is so true If I went off plan.That was my excuse to eat badly the rest of the day.But i am not doing it so much any more, I too,am starting to look at the big picture.:goodvibes:for the rest of the day.

Day Three!

Tracy, that is so great you doubled your exercise time! Fabulous!

Well, I had a very busy morning and skipped breakfast for the first time since I started my program on March 10, 2009! I did eat a healthy lunch (salad with boiled shrimp and avocado) so am on track with my calories. Will check back in later. Good luck, everyone!

Final tally for day 3--pretty good!
• I'm a little light on the calories because I skipped breakfast. Not hungry though. It will be interesting to see how I feel tomorrow. I have my really hard strength training workout tomorrow.

• Ate dinner by 7:30 p.m.

• Went to the gym - walked/jogged a mile,:running: plus 15 minutes on the bike.

• Will be in bed by 10 p.m. -- trying to sleep 8 hours.
