Re: thigh strap - what about adding some heavy duty velcro (an additional strip)? I think it comes with a small strip. I had it in the wrong spot and had to practically sit on the floor for my squats.

Another thing I was doing wrong was standing too close to the tv - I wasn't registering properly with the Wii Strip.

Thanks for the tip on the kickbacks.....I will try that.

I have to double up today to catch up....too many errands, not enough time. Plus my dd just received Rock Band for her bday and I cannot pry her off the Wii!

I heard there is a Wii Fit Plus...not sure on the details yet....

The balance board can be used for some of the sports games (boxing, volleyball, inline skating, baseball, tennis, basketball....I think that might be it).

IMO, it doesn't really add THAT much to the game so if you don't already have Wii Fit, I don't think that I would be inspired to go out and buy one.

Hi. I just found this threat. I have Wii Active too and I love it. I had the same problems getting the squats to register. I didn't have the Nunchuck in right. Great idea about the jumping jacks. I find the jumping in the in line skating hard too. I haven't started the 30 day challenge yet but plan to. My favourite right now is the Marathon workout

I bounced up to intense work out - could do it all except the fast kickbacks. I just went at my pace and took the abuse from the trainer.

Still going over my cal burn by about 20.

Need to get a band to replace mine - target wants $12! It has a cd with it. I just need a new band.

Skipped my rest day on EASA to do my 11th workout. I skipped the rest so that it would fall on my anniversary on Friday. My only issue with today's workout was being told I'm not getting down far enough into my squat jumps.

All you need is a double sided piece of velcro to extend the size of the leg strap. They include a piece with the game but if that's not enough just take that to any fabric store, Wal Mart or Target and buy some more.

Oh ladies I am slipping. I have yet to get back on track. I see several very hard days of multiple workouts in my future! I vow to get back at it tomorrow!

I hear ya hlthgirl. I've been slacking the last couple days. This June Gloom out here is getting to me. Just can't seem to get motivated. Promising myself to get back on track tomorrow. Summer's pretty much here, and I have a long way to go before I feel comfortable in a bathing suit (or without )

Last Night:
1/2 hour doing a custom buddy workout with my husband on Active
20 minutes DDR with him as well

Anyone else do buddy workouts with someone? We did it for the first time last night. It was pretty fun, we were being competitive.

I was glad to find this thread I have been using my ea active for about 15 days and I find that it telling me to take days off annoying. I have a tough time too sometimes getting certain things to register and when I looked it up it is a common issue with the program. I some times find that if when it starts to not register if I switch legs, like if it is a left sided excercise, do the right side and it starts registering again. (go figure) there has been time I got it skip that part altogether. I love the preset workouts...
