Wantingto...i do 2 or 3 workouts on some days. I don't know know if it is recommended or not. I'm just trying to get in as much excersize as possible to help burn off as many calories as i can. I want to get as active as i can so i can raise my metabolism as much as possible. Can being too active be a bad thing??? I don't know. I've never had the time to work out more than once a day because i always worked full time and had my kids to hurry home to. This is the first time i have been able to workout as much as my heart could possibly want to. If anyone has an input on working out too much, please let me know.
But so far, the month of June, i've not been lucky to get in one workout a day. I worked out just 2 days so far and this morning just couldn't get out of bed to go to the gym for class. But...I am going this afternoon. Gonna try for two hours tonight before i head out on vacation tomorrow morning.

Hey everyone! So I missed my workout yesterday because I have a huge final tomorrow and was up studying until midnight, BUT I got up early this morning to run on the treadmill. I even reached a record high mileage for me (3.5mi) - looks like I had a lot of pent up energy! Now off to put that energy to studying...Have a good day!

One more workout done! I did my usual stationary bike exercise, but followed it with core and upper body strength training. Yay.

worked out saturday and today.. or rather yesterday.. it's 3 am and i jumped out of bed an hour ago with terrible muscle spasms in my legs and feet.. my feet were curled up so that I could not even stand up to stretch them out.. really terrible... :-(
i took some calcium and am having a drink of water and will go back to bed.. i'm a little scared to do so.
i have a very bad hip.. and getting a new one in september, so "jumping out of bed" in the middle of the night is not fun or easy.
glad you guys are here

So I got up at 8 this morning with the intention of working out, but ended up being lazy and spending the whole morning in bed (amazing!) before starting my first day of work this afternoon. But I felt so guilty when I got home! So, my "break" day became a 3.5 mile run day...haha.
Gatorgirl - you're kicking butt! Way to go!

I did another 4 miles on the elliptical and lower body strength training. I have never worked out this many days in a row before. I think that I am really starting to get into a groove. I am loving the feeling. Hopefully, by the time I go back to school, it will be a habit and I won't have to concentrate on eating habits and forcing myself to workout. This could end up being a great stress reducer once classes start again.

Wow. what a week. Two days in a row, I have gotten home from work after 9 pm. The gym closes at 8 pm, and I left work long after the gym was closed. Since I can't walk more than a few steps, the only place I can really get a workout is the gym. :-(
I hope to get there tomorrow and the rest of the week.
