G2009 - 4th Of July Challenge
 
WELCOME TO THE G2009 4TH OF JULY CHALLENGE! This challenge runs from today (May 25th) through Saturday, July 4th. Technically it's 5 weeks and 5 days long - PLENTY of time to lose some pounds!!!

Anyone is welcome to join in the challenge - just post your starting weight and your personal July 4th goal weight. MAKE SURE IT'S ACHIEVEABLE - We are NOT here to set you or ourselves up to fail! For all of you coming back - I'll use your last weigh in weight as a start weight - but PLEASE POST YOUR PERSONAL 4th of July goal weight so that I can track and reward accordingly. :D

*RED COATS VS. REBELS: Small Team Challenge - I will determine the teams based on start weight... nothing serious - just some more focused support.

*Continued Exercise Across America. Whoever gets there first WINS!

i'm back for this challenge and weighing in at 193.5 :(

i am now a college graduate as of may 16th with no hw for quite some time and i am ready to get to goal. no distractions!

i am going to miami this thursday and plan to have an awesome time.

cant wait for the challenges to start.

Hey all! I'm in. Since I gained on vacation I'm just working at getting back to the 185 I was at before I left. My over all goal for this challenge will be 180. Don't know if I'll be able to do it but I'm going to try and get as close as possible. And if I only get back to 185 (I'm at 192 right now) then I'll be happy with that. In August we're going to back to Chicago for my inlaws 40th anniversary. I have a size 14 dress I'd love to wear for the party. I just have a little ways to go to zip it up. That's my goal for the summer.

well i am going to shoot for a goal of 170. that is 1.5 pounds in 5 weeks.

Hey everyone :wave:

I have gotten my shape magazines out and have been getting myself motivated...I have decided for this challenge I would like to lose 15 pounds, but I'm going to focus most of my goals in the form of weekly exercise/food goals rather than how many pounds I have lost. So, with all that said although my goal is to lose 15 pounds as long as I meet my weekly food/exercise goals I will be happy if I only lose 3 pounds...although I should lose more...LOL

4th of July Party Challenge


Hey everyone :wave: So, I would like to take the time to invite EVERYONE of you to the biggest....best 4th of July Party of the year! :celebrate: This year Eny and I have completely reserved the most beautiful white sand beach in Miami complete with beautiful and luxurious condos AND its all FREE!!!!

Free air fare....free room and board...free food...everything you could want is FREE!!!!! And the best part...no matter where you are your only 1,400 miles away from this PARTY of the century :dance:


To get to the party all you gotta do is MOVE YOUR BODY!!! :exercise: For every minute of exercise you put in you get ONE mile closer to the party...that means that during this challenge you gotta put in 1,400 minutes of exercise! You can do it...but you better hurry and get on your way before all the rooms are gone ;) !


So.....get your tickets NOW!!!!

Also, you'll be happy to know that these exercise minutes also count toward your Walk Across America that we are continuing!


See you all at the beach....and with all this exercise we will all look slammin' in our bathing suits!

Hey there girls! So far we're off to a strong start :) :welcome: to all the newbies of the G2009 challenges and :wave: welcome back all the regulars! Let's really make the 2nd half of the year count!

I'm going to take sign ups through tomorrow to determine teams and such... but anyone can join anytime. :)

Pat - WELCOME BACK! I hope that things have calmed down for you at home! It was one thing after another for a long while there! :hug: YOu don't need to PM me for the initial weigh in and goal - I'd like everyone to post thier goals in here... somehow having 20 people see it makes some feel more accountable. ;)

As for me - i've had a do nothing day. Hunter and I have just lounged around all day... she's in the bath now getting all the marker off herself... she was litlerally covered head to toe - but somehow avoided getting the white skirt she was wearing... odd child. ;)

Alright - I'm looking forward to this challenge - It's going to be a great one especially if you put forth the effort! :D
