I slipped up on a couple foods this past weekend, but I've made it through with relatively little gain and got plenty of exercise in, so I'm good. Just gotta keep it up. I lost track of checking off my exercise days, but I can count the days I've skipped exercise and it's not too bad. I'm planning to finish the month strong and make my weight and exercise goals!! |

I went off the radar for a few days. Wasn't behaving very well, so I was hiding from everybody lol.
I finally got my EA Active today! I just finished my first workout in the 30 day challenge, it was sort of like circuit training where they alternated cardio and strength training for 20 min. Even though I was doing the tutorials, I actually broke a sweat. I had to choose between a light, medium or high intensity workout and I chose medium. I gotta say this looks really good, I will report more tomorrow after the 2nd workout. Today was day 2 of the EA Active 30 day challenge. Oh boy! my legs are definitely feeling it right now. I am so not a runner and this thing is making me do running drills plus kick backs and high knees, I am telling you, at some point it felt like my chest was going to explode LOL.
The resistance training is fun, although the band is a bit wimpy, so I definitely have to make sure I am shortening it before starting each exercise to get enough resistance to challenge my muscles. I will probably just end up buying a stronger one to use. I also tried a bit of the 2 player mode last night with DH, and his comment was that it was not as fun as Wii sports. It is not, but I think that's because this is an actual workout and not an active videogame if you KWIM. Let's all finish the month strong!
