May 3--10 minute power walk on the treadmill and about an hour of playing Lips (which essentially is karaoke and lots of dancing)
May 4--20 minutes on the treadmill and weight training
May 5--30 minutes uphill on the treadmill [weight training 20 reps each]
May 6--30 minutes on the treadmill [20 reps w/magic circle] [weight training-triceps]
May 7--30 minutes uphill on the treadmill

Nice job everyone!
I slipped up on a couple foods this past weekend, but I've made it through with relatively little gain and got plenty of exercise in, so I'm good. Just gotta keep it up. I lost track of checking off my exercise days, but I can count the days I've skipped exercise and it's not too bad. I'm planning to finish the month strong and make my weight and exercise goals!!

I went off the radar for a few days. Wasn't behaving very well, so I was hiding from everybody lol.

I finally got my EA Active today! I just finished my first workout in the 30 day challenge, it was sort of like circuit training where they alternated cardio and strength training for 20 min. Even though I was doing the tutorials, I actually broke a sweat.
I had to choose between a light, medium or high intensity workout and I chose medium.
I gotta say this looks really good, I will report more tomorrow after the 2nd workout.

My progress so far:

May 1-10: Exercise days: 5 Exercise minutes: 185
May 11 - 17: Exercise days: 5 Exercise Minutes: 235
May 18 -24: Exercise days: 4 Exercise Minutes: 155

Yeah, as long as your moving and groovin it is! I just can't help but to "get down" while I'm singing, plus the interface is interactive for Lips.

Good morning ladies!!! I hope you all are having a lovely week! Today is the last day of school for the boys and they're excited and sad. My oldest loves his teacher and I have a feeling he's going to need a shoulder to cry on after school. :(

Anyway, finally starting to feel better--cold is still hanging around, but I'm dealing with it better than the other day. I jogged on the treadmill again last night--although not as much as before the cold--but I'll get back up there.

Today was day 2 of the EA Active 30 day challenge. Oh boy! my legs are definitely feeling it right now. I am so not a runner and this thing is making me do running drills plus kick backs and high knees, I am telling you, at some point it felt like my chest was going to explode LOL.
The resistance training is fun, although the band is a bit wimpy, so I definitely have to make sure I am shortening it before starting each exercise to get enough resistance to challenge my muscles. I will probably just end up buying a stronger one to use.
I also tried a bit of the 2 player mode last night with DH, and his comment was that it was not as fun as Wii sports. It is not, but I think that's because this is an actual workout and not an active videogame if you KWIM.
