I need to get in on this too! I lost 7 lbs in April; my goal for May is 6 lbs. That would be just enough to make me no longer "overweight" on the BMI chart.

Jacqui_D 04-30-2009 10:44 PM

Lewis, Lea, and Westtexas, I've added you to the list! Good luck!

Lewis, yay, you made it here!!

Lea

Welcome Small! :welcome2: I've added you to the list! Good luck on meeting your milestone goal!

econ nerd 05-01-2009 06:22 AM

Starting weight for my May weight loss is 247.6 - my goal for the month is to be down 10 or more pounds and to be at or below 237.6.

Jacqui_D 05-01-2009 06:51 AM

Econ, I edited your goal to make it match how you just stated it, which is more exact than what it was before. Good luck, chickie! :)

Jacqui_D 05-01-2009 08:19 AM

Good morning, Ladies! Is everyone ready to start the new month?!

I'm starting out one lb away from the "overweight" category on the BMI chart for my height!! And if I can reach my goal weight (or come close), I will be in the 180s! Yay!! I will be leaving "obese" behind forever! Oh, and just so that I can compare at the end of the month, this time I'm going to include my measurements as well. (I know this isn't usual, but hey, I found my tape measure, lol!) :D

SW: 197 lbs
GW: 187 lbs.
M: 43-34-44

Thanks  I expect to do better this month as I will be exercising more than I did last month!

Fressca 05-01-2009 11:22 AM

Jacqui_D, could you please edit my goal to say, Lose 5lbs to reach 155 lbs? I'd like to see that number there for extra *oomph*!

Good luck, everybody! :cheer: :cheer:

Jacqui_D 05-01-2009 11:41 AM

Good idea, Fressca! Oh, is it 5 lbs? I had 6 lbs. I'll change it! :)

FullSteamAhead 05-01-2009 12:46 PM

Good monring ladiessssssss :) , or rather afternoon! The time has been slipping away from me this morning.

It is so nice to see you gals from our previous thread/s and also those of you joining in with us. Michelle, Musiclover, Newshinyme, Lewisempire, JasonsLea, WestTexasChick, and smallification :welcome2:

Jacqui, thanks for pointing out the mother/daughter team. How so very nice! :) Welcome aboard to you both! Jacqui, I cleaned out the mailbox a bit ;)

Lewisemipire and econ nerd, hi there girls, happy to see you here. :) Keep it rockin' . We start our new month today ladies, I am so ready for our fresh start!

Happy first day to our new month and a Happy Friday. I hope everyone has a good first successful day and plans in place. I plan to start the SBD phase 1 (with one of gals here ;)) on Monday and I am excited about that but need to have a good weekend as well. Those of you from last month know that I had a lot of festivities and all and I had to work around them, ty once again for your support ladies . This weekend, I do not have any social events planned and so I am going to take advantage of it with a good OP weekend. One day at a time though, so right now the focus is on TODAY. :dust: for us all on our first day of our month.

My ankle is okay now and it's back to finish some spring cleaning upstairs and a busy weekend with DH on some spring projects. I like to keep busy and it helps with being OP, the activity helps me so much as does the walking. So for me today girls, I will work on drinking plenty of water and have my meals planned out. I look forward to getting to know everyone :). Wishing you all a great day, chat soon :).

I'm losing my mind! :dizzy: It's "lose 7 lbs to reach 155".

I'll be ok... tomorrow... maybe...:)

SuzyQ 05-01-2009 02:17 PM

Good Afternoon All :sunny:

I am so glad that May is here :cp:. I had such a horrible April. I had posted a new ticker to reflect my goal. My only question is do we: weigh in on fridays or everyday. I'm just not sure how y'all operate.

Suzy

musiclover 05-01-2009 02:25 PM

So my starting weight today is 153.2
I plan to post my weight every day, even though I don't expect a loss every day. Doing this will, I hope, keep me on track.
I have about 10 lbs to lose (lost 70 so far), and I am determined that 6 of them will be gone by the end of May, never to return.
So, let's go for it everyone!

Newshinyme 05-01-2009 02:52 PM

I am all ready to go!
My weigh-in day is Sunday, so I'd like to keep that. I am so close to that 30 lb. loss but all of April I kept gaining and losing the same 2 lbs.
I have been very good all this week so I am hoping to finally see some movement in the right direction. No socializing scheduled this weekend, so that will probably help me stay on plan.
Let's go everybody!
