Alrighty I hopped on the scale this morning and it told me 252.2... So my goals for this challenge:

SW: 252.2
GW: 222.2 (or less)

The eating plan: pay attention to what I am eating and keep my calorie count at a low and reasonable amount (1200 to 1600 per day). Cut back on carbs and increase my fruit and veggies along with proteins.
The exercise plan: Kick it up! Go to the gym MWF and do the elliptical and walk (plus get some weights added on soon). TThSa do the treadmill at home (C25K starting over) and do the 100 push-up and 200 sit-up challenges. Hubby is on board with me on the exercise. We will both do the same workouts and keep each other going (he has no motivational issues like I do...)

I won't start on this full speed until Monday as I have a lot on my plans for the next couple days. Tuesday I will start the C25K and the other two challenges.

Econnerd - That's awesome that you have your husband's support! It will make sticking to plan soooo much easier. Also, welcome to the challenge.

I wonder if you ever get over the exercise-induced soreness. I just started exercising regularly this week, and I'm sore all over. BUT I feel better and the scale is going down, so I guess I'll deal with a little soreness.

Hey all! TOM is here and brough along an extra pound on the scale this morning. I am kinda excited though... If I stay POP throughout this next week, I should see a big loss. Its fun to wake up after the TOM bloat is gone and see that I have actually lost like 5 or 6 lbs... We'll see!! How is everyone doing so far?

Hey everyone! So far I seem to be doing pretty good. I joined this challenge on the 24th at 174 and I'm already down to 172.8. I even did really bad and had Dominos Pizza last night for dinner and I still had a .2 loss! I was very surprised. This has been my best week so far, hopefully it'll keep up. Happy losing everyone

Arrggh. Slept too late. Also stepped on the scale this am and was up about 1# (but it's TOM, so maybe that's why). Will go to my WW meeting in the am and post an update.
Or maybe I'll get one of those tickers that all the cool kids have.
Going to eat something, take some more motrin, and maybe do some wii fit stuff.
TGIF!

I'm down two pounds. I'm 166 lbs. again. I've been doing well on my diet and I have walked an hour each day. I haven't been sleeping well at all. I'm in surgical menopause w/o hormones and my sleep has been disrupted. I haven't felt energetic enough to do a harder cardio workout. Hopefully next week.

well i am glad to see that everyone had a good day yesterday and that today is going good for everyone. yesterday i was running every where after work and did not dget home until late and therefore did not even turn the computer on at all. today is long i just have to figure out dinner. and find time to exercise today as well because with all the running yesterday i did not even do that. so much to catch up on. oh well that is life.

TOM has arrived. No scale for me for the next few days. Hopefully I'll see a decent loss since I've been doing pretty good and will do good next week!

what a great day i had. The pound i was up yesterday is gone plus point four! YAY! I kicked bootay in the gym and did my pushups. I feel great about it. I tried to run on an incline and whoa! Only lasted a mile like that and had to take it back it down. It seems like we are all doing so well.
