  • Prettyfriend that totally stinks about hurting your foot and the weigh-in. I know I can not understand all the workings of a body that makes the weight fluctuate, but do what you know is right and it will pay off eventually. I'm with FullSteam..stay off that foot! If it still hurts, rest it. Check with a dcotor if you're really concerned. Doing too much too fast can put stress on our bodies. You are working hard and you deserve some positive feedback, so here's a and a You keep going and next month will be awesome for you!

    I had some positive feedback on the scale and I finished the month well with workouts, so I am very, very THRILLED. Another happy dance took place in my bathroom this morning...I think I need a bigger bathroom!

    3/1: 20 min elliptical, 5 min sit-ups/push-ups
    3/2: 50 min (4 Fast Miles Walk Slim fitness video)
    3/3: 20 min speed walk
    3/4: 50 Min (4 Fast Miles Walk Slim fitness video)
    3/5: 50 Min (4 Fast Miles Walk Slim fitness video)
    3/6: Hours of Wii Sports!
    3/7: Hours of Wii Sports!
    Week #1 Total: 195 minutes (not counting Wii Sports )

    3/8: 1 hour Wii Fit (all activites)
    3/9: 15 min Wii Fit, 20 min walk
    3/10: 15 min Wii Fit
    3/11: day off
    3/12: 38 min (WAH 3 miles with hand weights)
    3/13: 38 min (WAH 3 miles with hand weights), 1 hour Wii Fit
    3/14: 38 min (WAH 3 miles with hand weights), 30 min Wii Fit
    Week #2 Total: 314 minutes

    3/15: 15 min walk OUTSIDE , 30 min basketball/tag with the kids WHEW!
    3/16: 38 min (WAH 3 miles with hand weights), 1 hour Wii Fit
    3/17: 38 min (WAH 3 miles with hand weights)
    3/18: 32 min Wii Fit aerobics
    3/19: day off
    3/20: 53 min walk Outside
    3/21: 1 hour walk Outside
    Week #3 Total: 326 minutes

    3/22: 1+ hour clearing brush
    3/23: 33 min Wii Fit Strength/Aerobics, 68 min (WAH 5 miles)
    3/24: 15 min. brisk walk (sick day)
    3/25: 42 Taebo workout
    3/26: 55 min (WAH 4 miles w/weight & stretchies), 32 min Wii Fit aerobics
    3/27: day off
    3/28: 68 min (WAH 5 miles)
    Week #4 Total: 305 minutes

    3/29: 30 min Pilates
    3/30: 55 min (WAH 4 miles w/stretchies and weights)
    3/31: 42 min Taebo
    Week #5 Total: 127 minutes

    March Total: 1267 minutes

    3/13-none.......so far least amount I have done this week in 2 1/2 months! ugh! I guess I needed a breather BUT I must get back to it.
    3/14-40min. walk (outdoors)

    3/15-housework
    3/16-30 min. wii aerobics
    3/17- 20 min. walk-t.m ( very active day in general)
    3/18- 55 min. (40 min. walk-outdoors, 15 min. wii aerobics)
    3/19- 75 min. (65 min. walk, 2 sess. 30+35min., 10 min. wii)
    3/20- 135 min. (65 min. 2 sess. walks (30+35), 72 min. wii aerob.)
    3/21- 40 min. walk ( me, outdoors).
    Total: 355 min.

    3/22- Day Off
    3/23- 60 min. wii fit
    3/24- 45 min. walk-outdoors
    3/25- 100 min. (45 min. yard work-raking and stacking wood, 35 min. walk, 20 min. wii fit).
    3/26 -30 min. wii fit
    3/27 -90 min. walk-outdoors (to town and back, stopped in a place along the river for 20 min. before heading back, took approx. 45 min down and back, beautiful day!).
    3/28 -50 minutes raking
    Total: 375 minutes

    3/29 -20 min. wii fit
    3/30 -30 min. wii fit
    3/31 -none
    Monthly Total: 1235 Jan. was 1125, Feb. was 1372, March 1235. I am happy! My ultiamte goal is to shoot for 5-6 hrs. per week (since researching metab. and smoking cessation). I am finding it hard to keep up with myself, lol , so my dear dear freinds.....let's keep on truckinnnnnnnnnnnnn .

  • Well 3.02 miles this evening.. met my goal. I'll have to switch to minutes next month, or maybe steps on the pedometer, as I want be able to walk at the gym.

    Prettyfriend - I'm sorry about your foot too! I know how bad it sucks when you want to exercise but have an injury. But I'm with everyone else, stay off of it! And when you do start back, do it nice and slow.

  • hello i would like to join the March exercise challenge, i did great for FEB i lost 14lb, however slowed down this week, (due to a night on the tiles, i got a flu ) so haven't been having a good exercise week, but this is the start of getting me up and back on the wagon woo hoo im going to do 24 days exercise in March...Good luck everyone..
