Good point, Brie! It's hard when yhou are looking at the normal fluctuations of the scale each day to stay within plan and consistant. I also think that in this challenge of leanring not to be so obsessed with the scale it will help us on our journey to eventual maintaining. Just knowing what to do and what to eat without a constant battle with the dreaded scale.
I feel very liberated without having that scale wink and nodding at me everyday! lol
Well back to work after two weeks off. It is going to be a challenge to keep exercising, eating heathy, and juggling life but I am going to do it. Like Brie said I am going to be consistent. I am going to do this by.
1. Making sure to exercise first thing in the morning or in the evening.
2. Taking time to eat my two snacks to avoid
3. Take my lunch and no eating out
Well I did TBL Weightloss Yoga tonight for the first time and let's just say it is tough, but I felt great afterwards.
Purplefirefly ~ thanks for the info on the 30DS thing. I was feeling wimpy for not doing it today. Will attempt it again tomorrow... legs willing.
Hi and good night to everyone else! I have been so glued to my computer screen the last few days waiting for the challenge to start, that I finally need to get ready for real life again tomorrow. Have a great night! Will check in in the morning sometime.
Melissa: I want a boob job too at the end of this. My dh says he will happily pay for any skin tightening/boobjobs i want when im at my goal and maintaining.. ( haha Of COURSE he is happy to help me geta boob job! lol)
You are so lucky! My husband is a weirdo....MOST men would be overjoyed for their women to have porn star boobs....LOL! BUT mine nooooo....I don't know if he thinks I'm gonna go crazy and want to party all the time or show them to other people or cheat on him or what......he used to be super skinny and he has been working out for like 7 years and now he is all buff and has muscles.....he should understand it is just about wanting to feel good about myself....but anyways....I'm getting it done reguardless...LOL

Everyone enjoy your Sunday!
Oh I have heard some horror stories.....there was a woman on Dr. Phil one time who got messed up bad having a boob job and it was by a reputable Dr.....it was just something that happens from time to time.....BUT I don't care....I have to have one.....my boobs have ALWAYS sagged and look HORRIBLE....they are embarrassing especially at my age....I don't ever let my husband see them.....they couldn't get any worse....and even if they do at least I will have an excuse!
Im an idiot, ive been trying to figure out this whole time how to quote people so I can remember what everyone is saying and I wasnt sure how. Well, I figured it out so maybe now I will be able to reply more to people. Well Im off to bed. Good night everyone!
I cant sleep so I did 20 min of Wii fit and did W1D1 of sit ups. Now I have the first day of sit ups and push ups.
Stephi- Dont feel bad, mine sleep is messed up too. I went to bed at 9:30 (which is extremly early for me) and was back up at around midnight. It was like I took a nap and now im awake. Im hoping I go back to sleep though so I can get up at a descent time. I start school again tommorow too!
I just got home from a killer workout. I did my usual 60 minutes on the spinning bike, but the exciting part is that I made 25 miles in the 60 minutes. I worked really hard to get it in 60 minutes. Usually I get 22-23 miles in an hour so you can see I was huffing it.
Wow what a workout. Congrats!!

i see now that thats what this challenge is about. all of us being consistent no matter what the scale says or doesnt say. if we stay consistent we will reach our goals.
and we show that we love ourselves by being consistent and exercising, eating right etc.
so this week i challenge you all to be consistent and i will try to as well.
That is really great. I will try to be very ver consistent with my food intake and workingout.
Good Morning!
I have to leave for work soon, but just I would check in. I did my first day of pushups yesterday evening. I am in column 2. They aren't too bad yet, but I'm sure I will tired and soar the more I do. Can't wait to see if I can do 100. Have a great day everyone!
Just dropped by to let you know that I am going to drop out of the challenge...My physical problems are not letting me do what I need to be part of this...so rather than complain and be negitive, I am leaving,,,This is a great spot and if things get better you may see me yet again...Thank you all!!! Patricia

Sorry to see you go and hope you find some resolution soon! Feel free to drop in and let us know how you are! Good Luck!
Okay ladies, I did D2L1 of pushups last night after treadmill and I just did my second day of 30DS. I cant believe how much that makes me sweat. My legs are killing me, didn't sleep too well again last night, even after a 1/2 glass of wine to relax me. But I ain't givin' up or givin in.
Gotta go get ready for work. I'll check back in later. New Year, DEFINITELY New Me!

Pat - what physcial problems? (yes I'm nosey) I'd rather you stay in if you feel comfortable. There really aren't any physical demands of this challenge. You only have to participate in what you want to. I don't think any doctor would be opposed to you watching what you're eating and making sure that you're being healthy. I'd just hate to see you go.

Eny can still track your progress and we can allchat together.. maybe the next mini challenge will be your THANG. ANyway.. no pressure.. butjust know you are more than welcome to stick around even if you cant do all the challenges and whatnot
Good Morning Everyone, Well I made it to the gym this morning and so did everyone else with their New Year resolutions to lose weight. I give it a month and then it will die down again. I did 30min in the ellipitcal. Everyone have a great monday!
Hello!
I did pretty good eating today, im quite proud of myself. Im gonna try to get my lazy butt up and exercise here in a few.
Good job on the food! Keep up the good work....lets delete the word TRY from the sentence above......remember TRY is just another 3 letter word for NOT HAPPENING!

Hey Patricia! 1st of all let me just say that if ANYONE is struggling or having pain or any trouble of any kind you are NOT BEING NEGATIVE if you come here for support and suggestions to help keep you on the right track! The only negativity we consider NEGATIVITY here is when you put down the thoughts, ideas, and or the actions of others because they weren't yours or for some other reason. You are more than welcome to express your woes....as will many of us....LOL! I have read somewhere on this website....eating is HARD....working out is HARD....being fat is HARD....so choose your hard! It is ONLY day 5 of the NEW YEAR and your already giving up on yourself and us....give yourself a little more credit chicky poo! If you can't do the push up challenge then try doing wall push ups......its only 3 days a week.....it that still seems too much then do what ever you can......even if it is walking in place while watching your favorite t.v. program. This challenge is sooooo much more than physical.....we will have food challenges where we tackle tough food problems....we will have mind/body/spirit challenges where we tackle our tough thoughts towards ourselves.....we will have pampering challenges where we pamper ourselves to help us feel better about ourselves....and we are here to SUPPORT each other. So give us a chance! Tell us what problems you are having and see if we can help you out some........Don't give up on day 5! You are just getting started.....2009 is your year remember that! This time next year will be different....you won't let ONE MORE YEAR slip away!!!! I believe in ya!
