3FC Commercial Break Workout Challenge (Fall 2008)

  • HI ALL! WELCOME TO...
    THE 3FC COMMERCIAL BREAK WORKOUT CHALLENGE


    This challenge is designed to combine 2 things, (one thing that I love) - the fall season of new TV shows, and something I don't so much love - working out. There will be no winners or losers and no deadlines. We will simply going to get up during the commercial breaks and work out the WHOLE time, until the commercial break is over! We can update our progress on this thread and even chit-chat about our shows as well. At first I was thinking of just doing this for The Biggest Loser show, but then realized that there are a few shows I will be wanting to watch this season.

    Go ahead and name the shows you will be watching (and if you want the day, time, channel, and durration of them as well). Then add what you plan to do for the commecial breaks. We will check in here with new workout ideas, as well as record our progress.

  • Shows I'll be watching:
    Tue TBL 8-10 pm, NBC
    Wed America's Next Top Model 8-9 pm, CW/Night Rider 8-9 pm, NBC
    Fri Wife Swap 8-9 ABC

    Workout Ideas:
    Squats: basic, plea, baby
    Legs: lunges & lifts
    Chest: lush ups, chest press,
    Back: rows, dead rows
    Arms: bicep curls, tricep press, shoulder lifts,
    Abs: crunches, plank
    Cardio: jumping jacks, football feet, quick lunges, stepping
  • I'm in. Great idea! I have a mini trampoline in our spare room that I never use. I'll do some jumping during commercials. Unfortunately, I do not have a regular show that I watch due to my work schedule, so I can't post that. But I will work out when I watch commercial. Thanks.
