Well I set myself a 5 lb challenge for September, so let's make it a 10 lb. challenge to Halloween. That would put me at 254.
I love this forum!

I am in too, I have been very unmotivated lately (like for a long time) and think I want to do something then don't really follow thru.
8 weeks, 10 pounds! Won't be easy but should be doable if I follow through.
I will verify my current weight tomorrow (been trying to stay off the scale lately) but I think its 195 so goal will be 185.
Good luck to all and I will try to not let my hair turn white from looking in the mirror naked lol.
Edit:CW/SW actually 198.5 sigh

I'm in... I've been slacking, but I would like to be DOOOOOOOOOOWNSIZED by Halloween. I'll take some time to reflect on my weight loss journey and post my goals later. Thanks for starting this, Eny!

Repost from the 20-something board:
This is the challenge that needs to get me back on track. I want to walk, jog, jumprope, taebo, and crunch my way to a healthy and ACTIVE lifestyle. Fall is one of my favorite seasons, but I have to watch those hot chocolates, trips to Starbucks, and random goodies.
During September, I will:
- Post here daily - It seems that my posting decreases coincide with periods of slackage. Not gonna happen.
- Monitor my caloric intake DAILY - I have to do this in order to recognize patterns in my eating, and to get a better understanding of where the weight comes from - starting today 9/2
- Enjoy ACTIVITY- I've gotten better at this by not using my gym membership. As the weather gets colder, I'll have to suck it up and go to the gym. But there is nothing better than being outside, seeing life, and enjoying movement/activity.
-Update my WL blog regularly.
-Reassess my weight loss goals as I lose more weight. - I've realized that my original GW may be too small for my body, so I will pay attention to not only the scale and my lack of stomach blubber but how I feel in my weight.
My life is changing, so I want to be open to change and willing to see the beauty in everything!!!

So far I'm doing good at being refocused! WOO HOO! I did my morning workout this morning - and I'll do my evening one as well.
I'm still feeling over whelmed! I'm trying to not let it get me though and let it get me off track!

hey has anyone got a healthy idea how much exercise u should do in a week. I have no money for a gym, so my options are a workout video at home or going running, which i do both of about 2-3 times a week, but do people do much more then this? would i loose more if i went out 4-5 times a week? and is it safe to put my body under that pressure as a tall big girl? (i exercise like like im a small girl cause my brain cant accept im fat lol)

Eny, WTG on staying focused today and getting your morning workout in. I wish I could get in the habit of getting up and working out early, but it never seems to happen that way. I did something to my leg/hip during yesterday's walk, so I now have a little "hitch in my getalong". I don't want to make it worse, so instead of the walk, I'll be riding the stationary bike tonight. Not as much fun, but I don't want to miss a day this early in the week!
Tamara, sounds like you have a great plan laid out. Success is on it's way!
freethetoys, I'm no expert, but I don't think that being a big tall girl would affect the number of times you can exercise per week, though it might affect the kinds of exercises you can do and perhaps the intensity.
Hope everyone had a good day!

I hope everyone is going well!
Unfortunately, I have not been able to work out as much as I like as I am quite ill with a very bad cold at the moment
