I slept like a ROCK last night. I think I'm just getting over a bunch of emotional crap right now and I'm going to be happy that I'm not gaining. I have to admit that I was VERY tempted by a bag of chips and dip - I almost got into the car and went to the grocery store last night when I was in the middle of a pity party. Luckily my brain kicked in and I just went to bed instead.

I got off track for a day or so but I think im back on it. It was my birthday and yes I plurged when I shouldnt have and then my nephews birthday was the next day so I ate cake again. Today has been good so far though. Still no change in my weight. I gained there for a little while but im back to 186.

So this is tough to write out but I feel I should. The last 2 days were horrible and I ate and ate and ate.

So I kind of gained 5 pounds instead of lost it...I know its mostly water weight so hopefully some of it will be gone tomorrow.

Dandk- I know how you feel. I get like that alot. I guess thats why I never lost any weight. I feel like im back on track now though. Good luck!

dandk - well done for coming here and typing it out. I had a lapse on Sunday and my weight went up from 143.9 to 145.5 and I just hid away until it went away again.

But I'm pleased to report that after three days of being super good, it's back down to 143.1! So I'm back on target.

*grumble* This seems to be my pattern over the last 3 months or so. The weight is going down ... the last 5lb challenge I was bouncing in the high 160s. The two before that I was bouncing in the low 170s. I can see it's going down. It just doesn't want to go down *steadily*. How freakin' annoying.

So I'm sure by the *next* challenge, I'll be bouncing around the 160/159 range ... within 4-ish pounds back and forth.

I guess I should quit grumbling and be thankful that I'm losing.
