Great TTTA! You're in, too!
I have a friend coming over at 10:00 am. I'm happy to see her, but that's normally around the time I start working out. Not sure if we'll go for a walk, or hiking . . . It's little things like this, and my kids being out of school, that knocked me completely off course last week. That's NOT going to happen this week!!
We went to an Italian restaurant last night and I ordered a veggie pizza with a red sauce, rather than the cream sauce it normally comes with, and half the cheese. It was yummy and still on plan.
Have a great day everybody!

I've been thinking about a "reward" when we hit our weekly goal.
What do you all think of a glittery jewel of some sort we could put in our signatures? My son does digital art, I bet I can have him whip us up something. A different jewel for every week?
Let me know . . .

Hey peeps!!
Had a very busy day with company and I didn't get my workout in until late. I was feeling tired and kinda grumpy, but DH agreed to go biking with me. I'M SO GLAD we went!!
Enygirl - I see you weren't going to workout but decided to as well. RIGHT ON! I totally think a DOR each week is a great idea though. Or, you could just do something more laid back.
Looks like everybody had a successful Monday! Let's keep it up.

Heh, I've just realised that this forum is chicks up for a challenge. I'm up for a challenge, but with the best will in the world I would never come under the heading of "chick" on account of my gender. Should I bow out gracefully?

Alrighty then! And since you mention it, I intend to get at least six hours' sleep per night. Sleep is an oft-overlooked aspect of losing weight, if you don't get enough of it, your weight loss efforts can be impaired.
BTW I post in the wee hours because I am in the UK.

AJ - Ahhh . . . the UK . . . now I'll hear a British accent every time I read your posts. My ancestors hail from Devon. Some from Ireland, too. Welcome!
Theresia is from Europe, too. Sweden?? Or did I mix it up with Switzerland?? My money's on Sweden . . . Theresia - HELP.
My day yesterday was . . . difficult. I woke up tired. Gardening was tiring, convincing my children to wash the outside of the boat was a battle, then my workout kicked my fanny when it should have been the other way around.
I sat down and evaluated what I'd eaten the day before. DUH!! I didn't get enough protein. I've rectified the situation and am ready for battle!
Hope you all are doing well!

Well, yesterday I didn't work out as much as I planned. Totally walked out the door (LATE) without my exercise clothes & needed to go to the store anyway. I did a light walk (20 mins) at lunch so I got a little in.
Last night I REALLY wanted a glass of wine, but when I sat down & figured my calories, there was no room for wine. This challenge is helping me tremendously. For me to have to post the actual number of calories I'm taking in is so eye-opening & holds me accountable. So thank you, GG!!
I've got my workout clothes with me today & have turned down happy hour (GASP!) I'll get in at least an hour today. I'm already planning my weekend eating and workouts. That's the hardest part for me. But, I bought healthy stuff at the store yesterday so that should help. Sunday I'm getting a pedicure which was my 25 pound reward. I'm so excited because I rarely get pedicures & it feels oh so decadent when I do.
Have a great rest of the day everyone!
